Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching

Had a very good time and will be back again.

I have always wanted to go whale watching, glad I did. Even if we hadn't seen the whales it would of been an awesome trip. The Captain was very informative and we will be going again next season :)

As a local who has a lot of visitors I appreciate the half-price discount offered every Tuesday. It gives me a chance to introduce this wonderful adventure to as many of our guests as possible--without making too big a dent in my wallet.

Would do it again.

It would be a tremendous experience for my family, especislly for my vhildren.

We had an amazing trip and were able to get great views of the whales up close. The crew is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also had scientists and volunteers on board to help answer questions and help us understand the behaviors we were seeing from the whales. I would definitely do this again.

The chances of sighting a whale in the fog are slim to none. Unfortunately that was the case on our 2-hour cruise. No luck, but no one to blame either. Just one of those "rain or shine or no-sunshine" events. We did receive complementary tickets for a future whale watching expedition. We did see multiple sea lions.

Like being on a cruise. We got a little more time since it was the last trip of the day. Started out foggy but cleared up at 3:00. Saw a gray whale which the captain was able to follow for a while. Saw the whale breached several times. After that we followed a school of dolphins. They came alongside the boat. On the way back, the captain stopped at a buoy where seals were resting. He explained why they were resting. They hunt at night and rest during the day. Enjoyed the trip with my daughter. Will do again next year.

Had a great time... saw 2 gray whales and many, many dolphins! The dolphins were absolutely amazing!!! The captain was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insights! All in all, a great trip!

have been doing this for a couple of years with my husband we love it and look foward to it each year you must try it at least once

The Captain was very knowledgable about sea life and kept the passengers informed on where we were going and the things we might see. We went out on a foggy day but the sea life was plentiful. The sea lions, the dolphins and the wales were a wonderful site!!!

the captain of the boat gave us so much information about the whales we might see that day and all the other sea animals in the area. so much interesting information. the boat itself was very comforable with inside and outside sitting areas along with plenty of room to stand and move around. great day

We had a great time on our whale watching activity. We got to see two whales (and many sea lions and dolphins), and the captain stayed longer than he was supposed to in order to make sure that we could get a good look, keeping track of (and telling us) how long it might be before it resurfaced. The captain obviously enjoys his work and makes sure that we enjoy our trip, passing on all kinds of very educational information throughout much of the 2 hours, and making sure that everybody gets to see as much as possible. We learned a lot while seeing some wonderful wildlife and having a wonderful time. We would definitely do it again (and for half-price, this was beyond what we were expecting), so we encourage everyone to try it.

Enjoyed the excursion, and saw lots fo dolphins. We are looking forward to come again.

We came back after doing a fishing trip two years prior. This trip we took two whale watching trips one regular and one on the catemaran. We loved it and received plenty of info as the captians were knowledgeble and shared it with us. The next day was fishing five hour tour. We had fun and caught a few fish. since we have been there on two different family vacations with no bad experinces we highly recommend it to others as well.
