Hello there - Family had a lot of fun on the trip and will totally do it again.

Excellent Crew Good Boat

it was my daughters 7 birthday ..and she wanted to go fishing. So I picked this company.out of the blue .with no experience in fishing.i didn't no what to expect .They treated my girl like a princess..even other customers,were letting her reel up there fish..i recamend them highly..also,the crew works very hard.good people. You'll have a great time for sure

Well organised - shame we saw NO whales though - BUT the organisers were quick to offer a no-cost repeat tour at OUR convenience. This was unexpected as wildlife is notoriously fickle

Went out on a 10 O'Clock trip on the Clemente, and it was great. Fishing had been marginal due to water temps being low, but a warm week leading up to Thursday had helped bump it up a bit, and the fishing was better than expected. Captain did a great job of getting us on a rock South of the pier, and it produced for several hours, with Rockfish, Sheephead, Calico's and Sand Bass. Fish were biting on squid, shrimp and live Chovies. Once this spot cooled off we headed back North for a few minutes and fished a rock with a lot of kelp, flylining Anchovies for Calico bass, and we hit quite a few. It was really fun, and just about the whole boat had something in their bags by then. Saw a few pods of dolphin, a few seals interested in a quick snack, jellyfish and so on. Crew did a great job of helping with snagged lines, bagging fish and grilling up some awesome grilled cheese sandwiches and killer cheeseburgers. All in all a really nice day. I've been fishing out of Dana Wharf SF for 20+ years, and as always, they have experienced Captains, great crew, and they know where to go to get you hooked up. And they're friendly too........ One thing to remember is that you can't park in the lot adjacent to the DWSF office anymore, as it has a four hour limit on that lot now, so you have to go check in at the office, get a parking pass, and then move your vehicle to the long term lot which is further away. So don't lug all your gear to the office, only to find out like I did that you have to go move your car. :(

So i went on the same boat last summer and it was great. Caught lots of fish and even had god food, but this timeit was a different story. ther didnt even take us to a good spot didnt chum the water out of the 30 people on the boat 10 fish were caught the food took a good 30 minutes to get to you and the crew was horrible. DONT GO ON THIS TRIP!!!!! I may be young but i am an experienced fisherman and i think this was a waist of money. Pick another company to give your monry to.

got skunked on the whale count, but other than that it was a blast and i would highly recommend this to all my friends!!

A great time was had by all even though the fishing was slowest I have ever seen.

My family & I had a wonderful time, lot's of fun. Very knowable crew with a great atsmostphere. Would highly recommend this trip for everyone that likes great outdoor fun. We'll be coming back asap. Loved it!!!!!!!

The boat ride was nice and not over-crowded; the crew were friendly. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales on our trip. They offered a "whale check" ticket to everyone to return in the future for a free trip. The ticket has no expiration. However, given that we were out-of-towners, that did not help us much. We'd have to be back in LA to benefit from this. They refused to give us a refund either. One of their staff suggested we "give the tickets to some stranger".... how weird. Nice boat ride though... for $30 a pop.

Great value...friendly and knowledgeable staff; very safe cruise; well worth the price of the tickets. Great experience. Definitely would recommend it and also would do it again.

We always enjoy the Dana Wharf fishing trips. They know the local spots and put you right on the fish. Wheter its the long range, catalina or local hot spots. You will catch 'em.

Although no whales were sighted, we saw lots of dolphins. Lots of fun.

HI, We made this a family outing. Grandpa, grandma, three mommies, two daddies, nine kids from 3 to 15. It was the first time for many of the kids and they were excited to ride on the big boat. We saw lots of dolphins -- no whales this time -- and the weather was perfect. The crew members were courteous and helpful and friendly. The boat was neat and clean and in good repair. All in all, a fun experience for everyone. Thank you.

Although we did not see any whales, we did see 100's of dolphins, running, jumping, swimming. The captain was well informed about the ways of the dolphins. I will definitely go again...next time earlier in the year.
