Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching

Well worth the money, time and highly recommend this service.

We saw a whale about 30 second after leaving the harbor. Later we had lots of dolphins. And the sea lions on the rocks. Really was a great ride.

Both my wife and I have needed a break for sometime to just take a breath of fresh air. This trip truly allowed that! It was a time to remember there are more things in this world we need to experience rather than being so entrapped with the daily routines of our jobs. The staff was wonderful, the burgers were the best! And the atmosphere AWESOME, heck its the ocean, how can you go wrong? =) Thanks guys for a wonderful day! Sincerely. Tiny and Spk! =)

We spent about 2.5 hours on the water and saw Sea Lions, Common Dolphins and three Fin Whales. Inevitably you spend a certain ammount of time waiting for something to happen but it was a nice afternoon so not a problem. Apart from the Sea Lions they are all hard to photograph though - more of a video camera than a still camera type of activity.

I've been on 1/2 day and 3/4 day fishing trips a few times with Dana Wharf Sportfishing, and I've always had a great time. The crew is attentive and helpful, and all the details are always taken care of. I highly recommend Dana Wharf Sportfishing, and look forward to my next outing on one of their boats.

there was a member in the crew who kept us informed about everything we saw during our trip. It was very educative and we enjoyed it a lot.

The crew of the clemete were outstanding. my brother came all the way from atlanta and we both will talk about this trip for years to come.

Disappointed that there were no whales - but the dolphin display was great. the boat crew was knowledgable and pleasant. Great afternoon in the sun on the water. Good value for the money.

We did this same tour last September and went on the brand new catamaran and it was great. We saw several whales and lots of dolphins. Much to our dismay we went on a old fishing boat this time and it was not great. The seats were wet it just wasnt the same as our first trip.

We enjoyed great weather, calm seas and great views. We enjoyed being on the water and seeing a few whales at a distance, sea lions and lots of dolphins up close.

We had free passes to use later. We will try one more time. I would like to express that all the people in the crew were so nice and friendly.

Our group was father, mother and adult son. Departed Dana Point appx. 12:00 noon 3/21/2010. Spotted (1) Gray whale about 1/2 way . Our craft maintained a safe distance from the whale, however various other craft converged on the sighting and probably compromised the sighting. That's OK, we all like whales!

Had a great time, thanks for the professional work and locating 3 whales for us, I would come back in the future.

Took my 11 year old son on the 2 hour whale watching cruise. Was a great experience - saw a huge pod of dolphins and a group of whales. Even if we hadn't seen any marine mammals, the boat ride and view of the coastline was worth the money.

There was no fish to be found, but it was still fun. I'll do it again in the summer.
