Didn't see any whales and didn't get a refund.

We spent $32 a ticket and didn't see any whales. They kept telling us how the whale was spotted in that area the day before, but we didn't see any whales. We saw a few dolphin so we didn't get a refund to come back another day. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! |

Bad Captain & Poor Decisions

My wife and I went out on the Twilight trip on a Sunday night. I have been out through this location many times and never had such a bad experience! The captain was yelling and cussing at the start of the trip, he parked us on top of a horrioble current which caused constant tangles all night and he never moved the boat despite the fact that few people were catching fish I will never ride with this captain again! I called and the store did nothing about the situation except give me the captain's name. After this experience I think I will look for another location to take my trips on. |

Great Evening Activity for a group

This trip was organized for a buddy's birthday. We met up earlier for a quick lunch and then hit the dock to board. We enjoyed some adult beverages aboard and were helped by the crew when needed to bait our hooks or toss a sculpin back without getting shanked. Would recommend and will do again. |

I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. We saw tons of dolphins and a blue whale mother with calf. The captain and first mate were great guides. I loved that the boat was not crowded. I look forward to going again soon, but probably on a week day. The other boats in the area were following us and made it difficult to see the whales. |

Too many people on the same boat, the engine on all the time making noise that probably did not help attracting fish, the chances to get anything were really low. I don't think I would repeat his experience. |

While the boat ride is OK.....the activity should be called "Dolphin watching" not Wale Watching.....if you happen to see a wale well does great......2 hrs of not much to see other than your occassional dolphin.... |

Good fun with my son. I didn't expect to have so much trouble with the birds staged next to the boat ready to take your bait, along with your hook as soon as you try to put it in the water. The deck hands were good at pulling the birds, mostly pelicans, up and removing the hook. The crew was helpful and the beer cold. |

There wasn't a whale to be found, saw some dolphins. They gave us a 1/2 off next ticket, which was nice of them. |
