| We had a wonderful time on our whale watching cruise, we saw whales and dolphins and the staff was very accomidating and friendly. The scenery was beautiful and we all enjoyed our trip. | ||||||

| don't purchase the ticket unless you're absolutely sure that you will make it on the boat. their ridiculous no refund/no exchange/no reschedule policy is completely unreasonable. my date and i purchased tickets and as we arrived at dana point she began to not feel well. even so, we could not even get a refund...we didn't even go on the boat!! | ||||||

| There is very little seating for those that need it. be prepared to standOur 74 old mother with her freshly healed broken foot looked forward to this adventure.. at this point probably a once in a lifetime thing for her...We went after a few days of rain and wind,The swells were very high, and nowhere for her to sit on the main deck , as there are no seats there( all the seats were taken on the upper deck) sitting down below caused motion sickness within minutes so she had to stand and hold her ground and balance with her feet. she was very sore afterward. the last 15 min as we were heading in we saw 2 whales...quite a ways away. that was it. you had to look hard. they surfaced twice and were gone. the next day we went fishing and we saw dolphins swimming with our boat and sea lions, but mom wasn't with for that trip. personally disappointed on behalf of my mom.I'm glad we took advantage of the 1/2 price Tuesday The crew were looking.. but if they are not to be seen not much they can do about it.They seemed knowledgable and were very pleasant. Everything was very easy. from ordering tickets, directions and getting tickets at the counter in the shop.Parking was free and there was plenty of it | ||||||

| Have been participating in Dana Wharf whale watches for 20+ years and always take visitors. Not too lucky seeing whales and/or dolphins/porpoises but always a nice 2 hours on the water. Commentary is always good and helpful to "first timers". | ||||||

| I've been on other whale watching cruises and saw only dolphins and sea lions. This cruise was great as two whales were sighted and surfaced several times. I would recommend anyone wishing to take pictures to have a high speed camera as you will have only seconds to point and shoot. The other option is to have a camcorder where you can catch the whale as it surfaces and clip photos from there. An overall GREAT trip! | ||||||

| Punctual, and clean and well organized. Enjoyed the Dolphins and seallions. But very dissapointed not to see any whales, I have done the trip in San Diego twice which is 4 hours long and saw whales on both occasions. | ||||||

| While we were not forunate enough to actually see any whales during our trip, it is an excellent way to see the beautiful coastline. Our group enjoyed tremendously watching the sea lions that were sunning on a bouy. As our trip was ending and we were all a little disappointed at not spotting a whale, several dolphin made their way by our boat for a little entertainment. I would definitely recommend the experience. Do however dress in layers, we had several in our group that misjudged how much cooler the air would be out on the ocean. Might be a little long for small children, especially if the sightings are few. | ||||||

| It was my first time out for the whale watching and it was GREAT. I saw the whale, so exciting and amazing. Plan to reture soon, especially on a tue. at 1/2 the regular price The crew and captain were very kind. | ||||||

| Although we didn't see any whales on this trip, we did see several pods of dolphins. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We arrived early and were able to switch to the first ship out without any problems. The service people were friendly and very helpful. | ||||||

| We did not see any whales, but did see dolphins and sea lions. The day was beautiful and the trip was a fun two hours in spite of the lack of whales. | ||||||

| Although we didn't see any whales, the dolphins made up for it. There were hundreds of them. What a great experience. The marine biologist provided indept information on the various types whales and dolphins, the sea lions and the birds. The rest of the crew was very professional, friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to another tour with you and will recommend you to our friends. Thanks for a grand time! Ute PS. It might not be a bad idea to remind your prospective clients of the possibility of sea sickness. | ||||||

| This is the second time I have gone whale watching with them. I loved it the first time. We saw only dolphins and no whales (Jan 2008). The same this year (Jan 2009). The difference was that in 2008 they turned the boat in tight circles to make large waves. This made the dolphin pod we were watching jump and leap high in the waves a lot. It was really fun to watch. They did not do this on our 2009 trip and it was very disappointing. They crew is great! The boat is clean and nice. They offer a great 1/2 price rate on Tuesdays. If you want to have a good chance of seeing whales, go in the peak of migration season. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the boat ride but saw only a few dolphins and no whale. As we took the whale watching and were wanting to see whales, of course we were disappointed. We did this trip 5 or 6 years ago and although we again did not see whales, we ran into a large group of dolphins jumping up and running along side he boat for almost a 1/2 hour. | ||||||

| The tour was nice. While we did not see any whales were were able to see dolphins and sea lions. The boat was very nice and the entire group of us had a great time. | ||||||
