| Definately one of my favorite activities in Southern California to date. We didn't see any whales but we saw an amazing amount of dolphins which was more than we expected!! | ||||||

| Beginning with front desk to "sign in" and get my tickets...find out info and purchase fishing licenses/rods and tackle.........."gentleman was unfriendly and rude........answers to queries were curt and not well explained ! Boat crew was preoccupied and not at all helpful....we were repeatedly asked for our "number"...and we were NEVER told our "number"!! Having fished many times..I KNOW they are not always "biting" so NO complaint about that............but bait was not easily accessed.......and there was no contact with crew except for the fellow running the 'galley.' I would not go on this excursion again.. | ||||||

| We were able to see a mother and her calf as well as another whale breaching the water. It was spectacular. On the return trip to the marina, we found a pod of dophins that played in the boats wake and jumped in and out of the water. Being from Florida and having seen dolphins before, did not prepare us for the awesome experience.... | ||||||

| Went with my daughter for her 18th birthday father/daughter date. It was great being together just the 2 of us. The boat was spacious, comfortable, and crew very professional. The burgers were excellent and the whales cooperated too!. We saw a mother gray with her baby right outside the harbor entrance! We will make this an annual event! Two hours is just right. | ||||||

| We had an incredible experience on this whale watch excursion. We were able to see a mother grey whale with her calf, sea lions, and drove right through a pod of 100 bottle nosed dolphin. It was really cool! My kids loved it. The guide was very enthusiastic. He did say we were lucky. The day before they had to give three groups rain checks because they didn't see anything. I would recommend going on the earliest trip so that you could go again the same day if you don't see any whales or dolphin. It was a bit windy. We were glad we had jackets. We will definitely do it again. | ||||||

| This was a very fun trip. Our captain and his helpers were all very helpful and spent a great deal of time describing the animals that we saw. They were able to spot a group of dolphins that played around the boat. We also saw a Whale and her baby that let us get close for several minutes. I would highly recommend everyone give this a try. | ||||||

| It was a fun day. The trip length was great for our 9 and 10 year old and long enough that the adults got to enjoy it. The crew was helpful and friendly and even stayed out a little longer to allow us the chance to catch a few more fish. It was worth the money and we are planning a return trip. | ||||||

| We went on this trip hoping to see whales and we did! The crew were diligent about tracking down the whales and we saw them 7 or 8 times during the trip. They are wild creatures so there are no close ups. However, we got close enough to see their black shiny bodies and see them spray water until they dived down again. It was a great experience and worth it. | ||||||

| We had a great time on the whale watching cruise in Dana Point. It was a beautiful day and the waters were nice and calm, absolutely perfect. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I have strongly recommended the cruise to friends and family. It was a great experience! | ||||||

| It was a great day. The crew was friendly and enthusiastic. The boat was clean. We saw a whale and followed it for about 35 minutes. Then took off and found a school of dolphins about 500-600 strong. The crew was very professional. My sister was in from Pennsylvania and enjoyed the cruise thoroughly. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time on the whale watch. This was not our first time, since we live locally. This time however, I took my son so that he could film the whales for extra credit for his "Living Sea" class.....we were not disappointed. On this trip we were lucky enough to see an 80 foot "Fin" whale. We watched the whale for about 20 minutes..........my son was thrilled to get so much "good footage". The day we sailed, April12, 2008....could not have been a more beautiful day!!!! Warm and sunny!! Perfect. Also, the crew was very knowledgable regarding the area and see life that we were seeing. | We really enjoyed this activity and I will definitely do it again when people come to visit. The boat was great with lots of options for sitting, standing, or being inside. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable. We did see whales which was awesome. | ||||||
