| The catamaran was clean, spacious, new and fast. The crew were warm and welcoming as well as knowledgeable about the whales, dolphins, birds and other wildlife. As we were heading back to port somewhat disappointed that we hadn't seen anything, the captain suddenly noticed two blue whales and we turned back around to follow them. The crew went out of their way to make sure we saw as much as possible, even though we were slightly over our time on the trip. No one cared. We were just thrilled to have seen the whales! Thoroughly recommended and I would take this trip again. | ||||||

| If you want to get a seat, get there early (at least 45 mins). There is very limited seating available on the upper deck. Otherwise, be prepared to stand by the rail for 2 hours. The seating area below deck is very stuffy and will make you seasick even if you are not. Use the restroom before you leave shore. We saw lots and lots of beautiful common dolphins - that made the trip - no whales. The guide didn't have much to say but we didn't care. We paid half price on Tuesday night so it was worth it. We all had fun. Would do it again. | ||||||

| It was a hot and fun day onthe boat and my kids had a good time being onthe boat . The sad side was the fishing was not great at all we only cought 1 fish on the trip , which dissapointed my kids and from going on again . so it's good to check the fish reports before you go , to see if the fish are biting . | ||||||

| It's always a pleasure to go out on the Twighlight trip with Dana Wharf Sportfishing. 4 hours is a perfect amount of time with children and/or folks trying out fishing for the first time. It's short enough that if it's not working out or you're getting seasick you'll be back soon enough but it's long enough to get some real fishing done. I've done this trip several times now (I think that this was my fourth) and for the first time my son fished the entire time instead of playing with the bait fish in the bait tank for the last part of the trip. He was a fisherman instead of a fisherman's son. We'll be thinking about a longer trip now but will still go out on this once in a while with newbies. The crew is great. The galley is great. You don't have to get up early in the morning to go. I recommend it. | ||||||

| The whole family had a good time on this trip. We had two 4 yr olds so we were a bit worried about how they would do and it all went fine. I think however that about 90 min into the 2 hr trip both girls started to feel some motion sickness. We had brought crackers and juice with us along with other snacks and that seemed to settle their stomachs. We saw two whales and a huge school of dolphins as well as some sea lions. Boat personnel were very nice and it all went well. There are tables and benchs on top of the boat so if you want that, get in line early to get first dibs. Also if you want a good spot at the front of the boat. Set your camera on telephoto and sports speed. | ||||||

| We weren't lucky enough to see a whale, but received a free pass to try again! Mother nature doesn't always cooperate. Everything was well run, on time & the crew was curtious. It was a nice way to see the coast from a different perspective & spend time on the water. | ||||||

| It was a clean boat...even the restroom was clean---thank you! The captain gave information on the wildlife we saw, which was great and kept us updated on the plan of action. It's good to be informed and not just drifting and wondering. The cashier in the shop on land was very friendly and the entire process was very organized. I highly recommend this trip! | ||||||

| We took the catamaran boat for our whate watching experience. It was awesome! Weather was cold but clear, water was calm, boat was comfortable and offered both indoor and outdoor seating and/or standing. We saw whales on 4 different occasions during the 2 hour trip, however, they were very elusive, and did not like the boats approaching, so they stayed very quiet and did not exhale in a way that would allow us to see the big spray from their blowhole. Instead, they would come up to the surface, quietly exhale, then go back down again -- so, you only got to see a small part of the top of them, and just for a quick second or two. It was still really neat to observe. The dolphins were incredible though! There were hundreds of them, and they loved to play in the wakes of the boat. They were so much fun to watch! We also got to check out the seals on our way back to the dock. All in all, it was a great experience, and I would definitly do it again! :) | ||||||
