Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West Full-Day

Great way to spend a day in the Keys. Of all the things we did in Florida this is what we will remember the most! A wonderful, easy going day.

We come down to Key West every year. This is the 4th (or 5th) time we've been out on the Danger Charter full day tour. We know we should experiment with something different in KW, but we can't help ourselves with this tour. It's just so much fun going out with the crew (Haid, Wendy & Chris). They keep you entertained, and fed well. Love the curry chicken salad. And the boat itself is so unique. We learn something new everytime we go out, especially on the Eco tour in the kayaks, whether it be finding a starfish, baby conch,sting ray. The Danger accomodates small groups, which we feel makes for a more intimate trip. You can get aquainted with your fellow passengers, and have fun with the crew. Watch out, they may make you work onboard! But you will get rewarded with a ice cold, refreshing adult (or non-adult, if you prefer) beverage. Can't beat a cold beer while relaxing in the crystal clear, blue-green, white sand, shallow water. They pick the most beautiful water to snorkel and swim in, plus the crew gets right in water there with you. Capt. Haid made sure we were able to see several beautiful wild dophins, while sailing/motoring back to port. We never feel rushed. Remember, your on KW time, so no worries, no hurries! Hand me another cold beer. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed the trip. The captain and crew were all very attentive. We really enjoyed the snorkeling and kayaking. We enjoyed the historical and environmental context that they gave everything. It was worth the money and we felt enriched by the experience. I would recommend this to everyone. We went on 4 snorkel trips while in the Florida Keys and this exceeded all of the others both in quality of trip, locations, and also in service and food. My wife and I had a great time on our full-day excursion with Danger Charters. The captain and crew took wonderful care of us, including taking the time to learn our names first thing in the morning. The snorkelling was excellent, the lunch was filling and tasty, and the kayak tour around Cottrell Key was a highlight of our entire vacation. We will definitely be taking more tours with Danger on our future visits to Key West!

We sailed with Danger last May with my husband's parents (who are in their 60's). We had a great time and thought we (parent's included) would try it again this year. Hats off to Captain D and Sunshine! We had lots of wind but due to the experience of the crew, we sailed out and had a beautiful day. Everything was great: food, drink and activities. If you have an opportunity to spend the day with Danger, take it! We hope you have as much fun as we did.

We had a great time on the water with Danger Charters! The crew (Haig, Chris and Wendy) were fantastic hosts and very informative. The weather was perfect and I would highly recommend Danger to anyone traveling to the Keys and want to sail, snorkel and kayak.

We booked a full day with the Danger crew. It was worth every penny. The crew, Hagg, Bosco and Wendy were absolutely the best. IF you wanted to pick the brains of the locals and find the best places to do and go, these are the guys that can do it for you. Their knowledge of the entire region was fascinating. Taking a kayack tour thru the mangroves was very interesting, with many different kinds of wildlife and marine life. The snorkeling was amazing! We even got to see a 10 ft nurse shark! All were able to participate in the activities, regardless of their level of expertise. This was a very small group of people, ( approx 15 ). This allowed us to get to know a very diverse group of people in a very short amount of time. This was not your average herd them in and herd them out tourist activity. This IS the " off the beaten path" experience that you wish you could find. We highly recommend it to all and will absolutely do this again when we come back. Don't miss this one!

More than anything else, the warm, hospitable, knowledgeable crew (skipper Dennis, Sean, Wendy) made our day-long excursion a delight. Each made the 15 passengers feel welcome from beginning to end. They created a nice sense of camaraderie among all of us, regaled us with stories, and educated us with maps and advice about sights and activities throughout the cruise. They also served great snacks and drinks throughout the day, plus a delicious, hearty salad and sandwich lunch. You could ask them anything, but never had to, because they were constantly coming up with new things to tell or show or serve you. The sailboat was large, in excellent condition, very comfortable for the 15 passengers of all ages, and spotlessly clean. The snorkeling equipment, including "prescription" lenses, and LLBean Old Town sea kayaks were first rate. The places we sailed to for snorkeling and kayaking were well offshore and away from similar groups. This trip was the most delightful overall experience of our terrific time in KW.
