Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West Full-Day

We started off the day arriving at the Westin Marina to catch our Danger half-day tour which started at 9:30am. Well we were told they overbooked and asked if we would like to upgrade to a full-day at no charge. We decided to go for it and had the best time in Key West. Looking back I would really go for the Full-Day tour if you have the time. The weather was perfect sunny and 80 degrees. We headed out to sea in a beautiful sail / motorized ship with a very authentic feel of luxury and private charter. (not the big tourist looking boats here but rather something much more intimate and authentic). We traveled 7 miles out to some smaller keys west of KW and started the day off with sighting a hammer head shark from the boat which I was told is a rare treat! We then did some snorkeling around a few coral features called the man heads. While the snorkeling was not my favorite part it was fun. Upon finishing we were served a never ending supply of beer, wine, soft drinks water you name it from our awesome CREW for the remanider of the trip. Wendy, Eric and Ds you ROCK! These people are amazing and are what really made this tour stand out from anything else I have been on. A lot of private time to chat it up and learn the inside knowledge of the locals. We then sailed some more with our group of about 21 people and enjoyed some lunch provided on the ship of sandwiches and pasta salads etc which was delicious. I'm telling ya the ride on the sail boat is a trip itself of luxury and enjoyment while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Then we started the Kayak trip which was my fav. We did tandem kayaks and saw so much marine and bird life I cannot list it all here. We saw multiple nurse sharks, barracuda, Osprey eagles, two Bald Eagles along with a trip through a mangrove tunnel. Amazing and the the water is so clear! All and all an amazing day I will never forget. We also saw dolphins on our way back to Key West that came right up to the boat and were the perfect finish to a perfect excursion. Great trip. Saw lots of wildlife (sharks, sea turtles, fish, dolphins). Crew is lots of fun and takes good care of the passengers. Food on board is good. Highly recommend!

My family and I spent a great day with Danger Charters. The scenery was breath-taking, the equipment was well maintained, and the crew treated us like friends. We really enjoyed the day and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

The crew was great. Very fun, informative and hospitable. I love spending time on a boat and getting into the water to snorkel. We did the all day and it was well worth it. Food was very good with beer and wine after the snorkel. We met some really fun people and had a great time.

Awesome, worth every penny for the day trip!!! I will be back!

We booked the full-day snorkel, kayak and sail trip and had a really nice time! We were on the Sarah, which is just an amazing sail boat! The experienced captain and crew had a lot of interesting information. They kept everything on track and ensured everyone had plenty of wine/beer and food. They made the whole trip very enjoyable.

More than anything else, the warm, hospitable, knowledgeable crew (skipper Dennis, Sean, Wendy) made our day-long excursion a delight. Each made the 15 passengers feel welcome from beginning to end. They created a nice sense of camaraderie among all of us, regaled us with stories, and educated us with maps and advice about sights and activities throughout the cruise. They also served great snacks and drinks throughout the day, plus a delicious, hearty salad and sandwich lunch. You could ask them anything, but never had to, because they were constantly coming up with new things to tell or show or serve you. The sailboat was large, in excellent condition, very comfortable for the 15 passengers of all ages, and spotlessly clean. The snorkeling equipment, including "prescription" lenses, and LLBean Old Town sea kayaks were first rate. The places we sailed to for snorkeling and kayaking were well offshore and away from similar groups. This trip was the most delightful overall experience of our terrific time in KW.

Chris, Christian and Heague, our crew, were great from the second we stepped onto the dock. The sailing portion along with the description of the ocean, its channels and the surrounding wildlife was great. The kayaking was amazing, while we searched for as much wildlife, and interesting sea creatures was alot of fun. The snorkeling was done in an area that visibility was prime. The crew really wanted us to have a great experience. The food was amazing, the crew was very, very attentive to everyone and their needs. I cant wait to go sailing with them again.

The weather cooperated and we had a great day sailing with Capn Dennis and Chris and Don! We even got to see bottlenosed dolphins heading out and into port!! The snorkeling was good and kayaking very cool! Food and drinks made for a perfect day!

We went out on the full day trip with Captain Dennis and Wendy and could hardly have asked for a better time. One of the things that stuck out most was how much fun the crew was having. Dennis was really thrilled about getting a rare wind allowing us to sail all the way back to the marina and Wendy was getting excited about all the animal life we saw during the kayak trip. The snorkeling was pretty average - we couldn't go to the best spots because it was windy - but the food, kayaking, and sailing were all wonderful. Definitely recommended (especially with that crew).
