Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West Full-Day

We had a great time and I would highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I went to Key West for our honeymoon and were highly recommended to go on this trip. It was totally worth it! Awesome trip overall- great crew working, great lunch, everything was great!!

While in Key West we took two separate excursions with Danger Charters. The first being the "Wind and Wine" tour (so fun!) and the second being the full-day "Snorkel, Kayak and Sail." I cannot enthusiastically recommend both enough. The Danger Sail Boats are spacious, clean and safe. They take small groups only so there is plenty of space to spread out and move about. The staff is amazing. They go above and beyond in every aspect. They are attentive, courteous and fun. I was never without a drink in my hand or a snack tray passing by. The full-day snorkel trip was a blast. There was an agenda but loosely structured so that you could snorkel as long as you wanted. After a tasty lunch there was even time to float near the boat with a beverage in hand while the crew prepared for our kayak eco-tour. We saw so much amazing wild life and the crew was very knowledgeable about what we were looking at and gracious enough to point stuff out to our untrained eyes. I highly recommend this trip and any other Danger Charters provides. They are a huge value for the money and a great way to create vacation memories and experience the best of Key West!

Regardless of how attentive the crew was to us (and they WERE, VERY!), they were also very aware of everything going on around us which is how they spotted the poor sea turtle in trouble before any of us even knew there was a turtle in the vicinity. They resolved that situation to cheers from the group, and they were cheerful, charming, extremely informative about the local area and I can NOT imagine a better experience. Oh, absolutely we will tell everyone we know to go to DANGER for their snorkeling experience in the Keys. it was, hands down, the BEST experience of our whole 7-day vacation in the Keys.

After reading numerous reviews on Trip Advisor I booked the full day trip for our family of five. It was a lot of money for us to spend but we were all so glad I did. We left promptly at 10 and returned at 4:30 - the full 6.5 hours as advertised. Everything was perfect - beautiful and calm water, the snorkeling, kayaking, dolphins, food, crew. The crew went above and beyond to provide a memorable day. We will take this trip again the next time we visit the Keys.

We sailed with Danger last May with my husband's parents (who are in their 60's). We had a great time and thought we (parent's included) would try it again this year. Hats off to Captain D and Sunshine! We had lots of wind but due to the experience of the crew, we sailed out and had a beautiful day. Everything was great: food, drink and activities. If you have an opportunity to spend the day with Danger, take it! We hope you have as much fun as we did.

We highly recommend the Danger Charter full day snorkeling/kayaking trip. The activities were well planned and the staff was friendly and knowledgable. We had lots of questions about them, the trip and the Keys in general. The staff was happy to answer the questions and were easy to talk to.

I quickly found out that the Full Day excursion at Danger Charters is the best way to spend a day in Key West. From the second you board the 65 ft sailboat, you are treated like royality. Best part of this trip, is the fact that there are no more then 20 people charted for this excursion (my trip had 11). The crew learned everyones name and were very welcoming and knowledgeable. They feed and water you all day long, and are there for the guests. They aim to please, and mission accomplished!

I had organized this trip for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise...and boy, was he surprised! To start off, we could not find parking. The man who handled the phone for danger charters was very patient with giving me directions every-step-of the way and suggested a much cheaper place to park than the marina. Once we got to the marina, we only had a short wait before we were on the roomy boat. The crew immediately was very friendly and enthusiastic while greeting us with water. They had gone through the safety/ trip itinerary speech quickly and we were on our way. The views were stunning! while we were getting to the snorkeling spot, we got a chance to mingle and get to know our fellow passengers. It was really quite a group. Again, the crew was very patient and helpful with snorkeling gear and very knowledgeable about the environment we were about to enter. I had taken an underwater camera and I ABSOLUTELY recommend spending the extra 20 bucks to do that. The photos did come out blurry because the wind caused sand to stir up so the visibility was not ideal. However, get your photos developed onto a cd and enhance them at home--i strongly recommend media impressions..the auto enhance instantly made my photos clear and brought out the beautiful colors. You have ample time to snorkel Next was lunch..everything was very fresh and from the local market. the curried chicken I think was the majority's favorite (definitely was mine). At the same time they served a wide array of soft drinks, beer (heineken and yuengling as well as miller light) and wine, which was wonderful. The kayaking was a guided eco-tour and we even got to enter the mangroves. It was quite an experience. The ride back was about an hour of drinking, socializing, and really wishing it all didn't end so soon lol (even though we did the full day trip!) Thank you guys!

Our group had a blast on our day trip with Hey Hank Haig and Don Juan. Although, we now know why they call it Danger. Just kidding.......They are the best guides. Lots of fun and energy. The food was great. We will definitely be back to Key West and plan another Danger Charter. Keep up the good work.
