Did the full day trip with Capt Haig, Wendy, and Meagan and they could not have been any nicer! Food and beverages were available every time you turned around. The crew made the day fantastic! Great day of snorkeling, kayaking and sailing.

We did this a year ago while on our honeymoon and came back for more. Such a good time! We even booked for the sunset sail the same week!
A must do in Key West! |

We had a great time with Danger Charters. Christie and Hage were the best captains! We chose Danger based on the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor...everything was true. Christie and Hage were great hosts...they were either educating us on sailing or the mangroves, feeding us wonderful food and drinks, preping us for the next activity, or just joking around with us. We had a small group of 6 of us plus our two captains so we really got to know everyone. I've already recommended Danger to friends going the Key West for their honeymoon. And if we had been in Key West longer we would have done the sunset sail too! Totally worth the money...don't think about it...just book it! |

Very fun tour with great tour guides. I really enjoyed the sailing aspect of the trip, but would have liked to sailed more and used the motor less, but apparently it was a little too windy to use the sails.
The snorkeling was fun and the water clarity was excellent, but I did not see a lot of fish. I have snorkeled in Mexico a few time and the Red Sea, both with better fish to see, but it was still fun. If it's your first time snorkeling, you will love it. The guides are very helpful as well if you need any instruction.
The kayaking was one of my favorite parts of the trip. We got to go through the man groves and see some interesting wild life including some jellyfish and crabs.
On the back back to the docks we were joined by some dolphins, apparently this is not common to see. Lucky for us I guess.
The do expect a tip at the end of the trip so make sure you bring a little extra cash with you. |

Being on the sea and sailing literally brought tears to my eyes I was so happy to be there. My crew, Windy and Dennis we were warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, informative, and very fun to be with. The kayaking experience was one I will never forget. I would do this every day if I could! |

Tony, Chris and Billy made a potentially dismal experience a great time. The weather was cold and windy - not exactly perfect snorkel and kayak conditions. The crew and boat were top notch. Chris' lesson on reggae dancing was interesting to say the least. All in all an unforgettable experience. We're gonna do it again. |

We went on a full day cruise and were lucky to have marvellous weather (the previous day had been called off due to heavy storms). The crew taking us out were Corey, Chris and Wendy and the three of them were very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Corey deserves particular praise for taking everything in his stride, including some shin bashing by my inept entry into a kayak.
The snorkelling was fantastic -- we saw a nurse shark, several sting rays, schools of fish, barracudas and a few too many jellyfish. After lunch, the kayaking provided excellent views of a variety of bird species, from cormorants to pelicans to ospreys and a frigatebird.
The only negative was the sunburn! Despite two thorough applications of 30 SPF waterproof sunscreen, we both ended up with bad sunburn on our shoulders and backs. If you burn easily, be sure to keep reapplying the sunscreen.
A great day out. |

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip due to the attentive staff and the unique experience of sailing on a large (65 foot) sailboat with only 10 other people while other charters we encountered were packed like sardines! We toured a beautiful nature preserve and enjoyed snorkeling in shallow waters far from the shore due to the Key West landscape. Great food and drinks made for an exciting day! Good value for the money. |

This was the best idea we had during our entire trip to Key West. The crew was fun and catered to us very well. It felt a lot more personal than some of the other charters I have been on where there are a half a million people crammed on one boat. |

I was a little apprehensive about snorkeling for the first time during our vacation to Key West, but wanted to give it a chance. After researching most of the major tours, my boyfriend and I settled on Danger and were hopeful all the glowing reviews were accurate reflections of the tour. We ended up booking the full day snorkeling and kayaking trip. I am soooo glad we did because it was our favorite part of our week long vacation. There were only 10 of us on the boat (there were 3 no shows) plus the two crew members, so it was a nice and small group. After sailing out for a bit and learning interesting tidbits about the Keys, we stopped at our snorkel spot. I was one of the last folks in the water and Wade was beyond-helpful with his instructions on what to do. After a bit, I ended up having trouble with my tube and after awhile he switched it out and the new one immediately worked fine. I cannot thank him enough for his help - he was super patient with me, especially considering the issues I had with taking in water with the old tube. If it hadn't been for him, I would not have had a good experience snorkeling and probably wouldn't have ever tried it again. Now, I can't wait to go back. We saw all kinds of cool things - barracudas, sting-rays, parrot fish, a nurse shark, a humongous school of tiny fish and some lobsters. It was awesome.
Lunch was terrific (curried chicken salad and dill tuna salad - yum) and all the food during the entire day was great ! The sand bar was fun but would have been better if the current wouldn't have been as strong -certainly not anything that can be controlled. The kayak tour was fun, but we were pretty tired by then. :)
My bf and I would have enjoyed more time snorkeling, but I guess we'll have to return. Thanks to Danger for a fantastic experience! Thanks too to Christy Sunshine who shared all kinds of knowledgeable and interesting info. And a special thanks to Wade for making my first time snorkeling be the first of many!! ~Jennifer |
