Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West Full-Day

The sailing was fantastic, the snorkeling in December was brisk but exhilarating, the kayak part was tough work but rewarding. I would describe the snorkeling as more "Atlantic" than "Caribbean,"--no coral to speak of and very few of the coral-bound colorful fish. I still loved it, and the crew member who snorkeled with us was superb at finding the interesting creatures. The crew were wonderful, informative, smart folks who are very good at their jobs--I appreciated the information aspect of the trip as much as the activities. We really enjoyed ourselves. I did notice that the other passengers were overwhelmingly white and hetero. My friend and I were the only two who went as friends, and my friend was the only gay person on the boat. Everyone was perfectly comfortable, but I was surprised.

Awesome experience, feels like on a friend's boat and a very relaxed and educational atmosphere. Appreciated the attention the crew gave to everyone. Loved the Kayak tour of the mangroves!

The Danger crew was wonderful and peppered the trip with tons of information about the area, flora, fauna, and the history of Key West. They even had Rx snorkel masks, so people could see without glasses. Tons of beer, wine, snacks, and a nice healthy lunch. Great time!

I chose Danger because it listed it took no more than 20 per trip and I liked that. I also liked the fact that it really was a sail ship. I had seen some of those other snorkel charters leave the dock and they were loaded to the gills with people. The crew was very attentive and made the whole experience exciting. The food was really good and they made sure you had plenty to drink at all times. It was really nice to see people who LOVE their job and wanted you to love your experience as well. Thanks Danger. Captain and Crew were very friendly, informative, and helpful. Lunch was delightful and Beverages chilled. Definately for the more sophisticated clientel nice not having loud students or kids running around. Sunset sail was also exquisite with great wine and cheese and the crew did a fantastic job serving us and keeping the glasses topped up. Will recommend this to friends and anyone who wants a great trip in the Keys. See you next time. W & T Dale

I would absolutely recommend this activity to anyone visiting Key West. My partner and I were actually 15 minutes late to our activity and DANGER actually called us to make sure we were on our way and did not leave without us! We were extremely pleased at how considerate and kind this charter group is. It was my very first time snorkeling and by the end of the trip I felt like a pro. All the crew was very enthusiastic, friendly, and informative. Lunch was great, the kayaking was awesome. I loved it! This activity is an absolute MUST! This activity is perfect for any groups who want a more intimate experience. FURY is the other charter group, it is overly packed with tourists and there are long lines to board their boats. DANGER all the way baby. Do it!

Sailing was so nice. Dan, Joey and Chris were very nice and informative. I enjoyed the kayaking, but wouldn't book the trip again just for that. But I knew when we booked the trip that I wasn't looking forward to that as much as the other parts of the day. We did see some wildlife - white sting rays, nurse sharks and a loggerhead turtle! It was fun to kayak and see the mangroves up close. My husband was really looking forward to the snorkeling. We had only been snorkeling in Cancun, so didn't know what to expect in Key West. The water wasn't as clear and there weren't that many colorful fish. We did see some fish and even a shark. Again, I had fun, but if you're going on this adventure for snorkeling ... I don't know. I was REALLY looking forward to going to a sandbar or private island as described, but was told the weather wouldn't allow it. So why am I recommended this charter? Because the sailing was worth it!!! Beautiful water, great service, good food. We met another fun couple and had a relaxing day.

Knowledgeable staff about nature, very friendly. Gear was clean, good quality. Did NOT go to sand bar / beach as listed on the full day cruise itinerary.

Skoneling is not interesting although I like swimming and I am a good swimmer.
