Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

My husband and I and two 21 year olds attended. All of us had a great time and would definitely recommend this to others. The crew was very friendly, very informative and attentive. Our kayak tour was great and the kids loved the snorkeling. My husband and I did not snorkel but enjoyed watching those who did. Some crew remained on board with us so we didn't feel left out. The kids loved it and we would do it again if we return to Key West.

We went on the Danger schooner at the end of February. Although the weather was a bit cool, we could not have had a better time! Capt. Dee(sp) and Christian both made sure that we had a great time. Christian makes a great fruit plate - all the fruit was at the peak of ripeness, and his presentation was nothing short of beautiful. When Christian took us kayaking around an island, he pointed out so many birds and interesting trees. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area. When we saw an osprey and eagle getting after each other, Christian was just as excited as any of us! It was not just another "day at the office' for him. His enthusiasm and excitement was infectious. While the snorkeling was not very good (certainly not the crews fault), we did see some sponges, which we had never seen in the water before. One other person on our trip was not comfortable in the water, but Christian very calmly helped him and got him to calm down in the water and enjoy his adventure. He handled the situation wonderfully. Capt. Dees had some great stories of spending most of his life on the water, as well as some great restaurant recommendations too, for later in our trip. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and definitely would go on the Danger Charters trips again, as well as highly recommend them to anyone else going to Key West. (BTW, since the weather (and water) were cool, we were allowed to use wetsuits, at no charge. When we went on the Fury the next day, they charged an extra $10 to use a wetsuit!)

With wife and my son we spent a very nice day. Because the weather was not good enough we were told that the day trip was cancelled, and had the opportunity to switch to the afternoon (they refund us the difference). The weather was effectively sunny the afternoon, but windy too. We spent a wonderful moment. Snorkeling was first time for us : we saw a lot of fish, sponge and a turtle. Kayak was nice in the mangrove. The crew very kind with us and the group, and really the explanations about the enviroment and what we were seeing excellent. In fact the most surprising part of the trip for me. Our guide had a high knowledege. From fighter jet crossing the sky over the Keys to all animals, plants and everything we were watching. Even if the weather was a little bit too cold, we spent an marvelous day, and my son, fifteen years old, normally difficult to convince for a trip with mom and dad was really happy when we came back.

My colleague and I enjoyed a fun day out with plenty of activities, including sailing, kayaking, snorkling and swimming. Sean and Wade were amazingly skilled and hilarious. We had lots of fun and learned how to snorkel without drowning. We also learned about the amazing ecosystem of the keys. Christina and Olaf

Husband and I did the 1/2 day snorkel and kayak cruise. Loved it! The crew were great and friendly and we enjoyed meeting the other passengers on the trip as well. We highly recommend it!

The crew did a great job mingling with the group, providing information and answering questions. Unfortunately, because of the recent cold snap, much of the marine life was killed off (obviously not the fault of Danger), but the guided kayak trip made up for it.

The staff was extremely helpful and entertaining. I had a great time. It was just enough time for each activity and with a great sunset at the end of the day.

My 12 year old son and I went out on an afternoon 1/2 day trip and had a blast. The crew was great - made everyone feel welcome. The crew provided a great combination of entertainment and information about the surrounding waters. The schooner and all of the equipment we used for kyaking and snorkeling was in excellent condition (the wet suits were welcome since the water was a bit on the cold side). Overall, I highly recommend this activity.

This was a great excursion. Excellent attention to the customers, without being overly patronising or 'cheesy'. The kayaking and snorkeling were excellent and the crew was fantastic.
