Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

it was a cold day but the boat was nice and the crew terrific. felt it was a little pricy though

If you go to Florida, you must go to Key West. And if you go to Key West, you must do some activity in the water. Danger Charters was my choice and it was entirely worth it. They take great care of you, the crew is really friendly in a natural way, snorkeling would be fun since they teach you well (though when I went, the water was too choppy), kayaking was pretty cool and the atmosphere which the crew managed to conjure was also very great. I enthusiastically recommend Danger Charters.

This crew is FUN! They are 100% dedicated to making sure everyone has the experience of a lifetime. Professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining. There wasn't any wind, so we didn't sail. However, that meant we had some exceptional visibility for the snorkeling and easy riding for the kayaking, which were the activities we came for. I was kind of nervous about snorkeling in open water, but they definitely made me feel safe. We saw lots of tropical fish, birds, and we even saw three different pods of dolphins, some with babies. My wife, four year old son, and myself took the half-day cruise. The boat is a beautiful 65 foot clipper. Captain Hague sailed her as much as conditions allowed, and was a most hospitable host. Crew members Bosco and Austin were competent, helpful and provided a wealth of knowledge about the ecosystem, history of the keys, and mariner lore. The water is clear and beautiful. The beauty of the water, the mangrove keys, and the wildlife can only be truly appreciated with your own eyes. This was an extraordinary and magical introduction to the sea for our four year old Colorado boy. Thank you gentlemen!! Karl from Colorado

I had done larger venues on tourist boats before. The 1/2 day trip was wonderful..very kind, friendly and attentive staff on board who kept us interested with their knowledge of the wildlife and plants. They joined us in the water for snorkeling and helped spot wildlife , along with pointing out wild life on the kayak ride. It was breezy so the water was too cloudy to go to a reef. It was a sponge bottom with younger fish and limited diversity. We did see a large 5" barracuda. ...lizard fish, angels, parrot, sm rays. My daughter had never snorkeled so it was a nice introduction for her. I would recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys a smaller venue with added feature of some biology education sprinkled in. Offered beer and wine, hummus, nice fruit platter, bean dip. A very nice day...we did the a.m. trip

Danger didn't get our reservation for 1/2 day trip so they gave us the full day. We had a great time the the crewe gave us all the best of attention.

Dennis (captain) and Wendy (mate) were very cool. They made us feel at home and were very knowledgable about the ocean reef. They have a smaller boat that can get to the more wild side of the reef, so you enjoy uncommercialized snorkeling and kayaking. We also took a trip with another company that was fun, but the Danger experience was way more personal. It was so relaxing and fun. If we ever get to go back, we will be going with Danger!

This half day on the Danger was a memorable experience. First off, you're trip takes place on a sail boat and not a catamaran. The combination of snorkeling and kayaking makes the trip most interesting and enjoyable. The two people that directed our trip were very friendly as well as knowledgeable. We would certainly take this trip again!

The crew was amazing! We had a lot of fun! I recommand this tour to everyone! The little extras are really appreciated (beer, wine, fruit, water, sodas, nachos and sunscreen). Really reasonable rate for what you get!
