Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

Knowledgeable guides. Great time!

This lived up to its expectations! We actually ended up doing the full-day instead, which included the lunch- which was delicious. The snorkeling fun, but the highlight for us was the kayaking, so much fun! Hague and Don (our crew) were great, too! We enjoyed this so much we decided to do the Wind and Wine Sail, too! Highly recommend!

We had a good trip with a great crew (Megan, Cory, Shane); The kayaking experience was good; saw lots of wildlife up close. The snorkeling experience was less than expected - it was not on the reef so we didn't see many fish. Was disappointed about this because of the high cost. Would recommend this trip if you are inexperienced in snorkeling and are just getting started.

This is a professional operation, the two guys running this Dennis and John were very freindly and knowledgeable. They were both very attentive to our needs and spent time training and helping us when we needed it. This tour was great and I recommend it to anyone who like to snorkal and kayak.

The food and company were wonderful, the water gorgeous and the snorkeling and kayaking a great way to enjoy the ocean on a hot afternoon.

There were lots of good things about our guides (Wade, Hopper, and... I forget the name of the guy who took us out to the mangroves) and the trip. They were personable, patient, knowledgeable, and took us far enough out that we snorkeled in 10 feet of water and the only other thing visible on the horizon was Cuba, not other boats and divers. We sailed instead of motoring most of the way, which we really appreciated, and had lots of recommendations about other things to do while in the Keys.

I and my wife took the trip on Danger Charters' 1/2 day sailing, snorkelling and kayaking trip and it was the highlight of our Key West trip. The group was small (10-11 tourists and 3 guides) and the whole experience was well managed by the guys who worked the boat. The guides were enthusiastic, energetic and were having as much fun as we were. The guide for kayaking knew his stuff about local birds and marine ecology, and it was more than just spending time on a boat. We really got to know the history of the local reefs, the birds' migratory patterns and other stuff. On the boat, the guides were very friendly and constantly trying to chat with every member of the group, either offering food and drinks every few minutes or serving suggestions about local eat haunts in the Key West. Totally recommended experience! One Downside: You really need to have snorkelled before, because there wont be a lot of basic training on the spot.

Just got back to West Palm today (boo! ) Wanted to say we had an AMAZING time on our trip on Friday. Brian, Wendy, Jon (Yon?), and John were super friendly, knowledgable and a lot of fun to spend the day with. Snorkling was fabulous! We were so lucky to have clear water and were able to see all of the beauty the reefs had to share with us. Shame I couldn't catch up to Wendy to see that sea turtle :( And kayaking was a lot of fun...even if we did almost need "Brian's marriage counseling" . haha. This was our second trip with Danger Charters - did a half day trip 2 years ago and a full day this year. The crew is amazing - very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters, history of Key West and especially the wildlife as we snorkled and kayaked. Fruit to snack on on the way out. Nice lunch of sandwiches and salads, soda, water, lemonade, etc. Then chips and dips plus beer and wine for the trip back. A great trip!

This was our first time snorkeling & kayaking and we had a great time! Not only did the captain and crew ensure that we have fun but they were very knowledgeable about the history and wildlife of the area. This was the highlight of our trip to the Keys and I would definitely recommend it to groups of all ages.
