Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

Absolutely loved Danger and the Snorkel and Kayak sail. First off...sailing on the ship is fantastic and educational. There were roughly 18 of us together, but it felt much smaller than that. There were three awesome guys who ran the boat and tours...and they were very friendly and just wonderful. I was impressed because they remembered everyone's names on board. The adventure felt intimate. The snorkeling was amazing (despite the water being cold, but Danger provided wet suits to help) and the kayaking is hard to beat. Only one other boat was out where we were, and I would take another tour by Danger in a heart beat. If I could give them 10 stars I certainly would. Take this tour!!!

We took the afternoon 1/2 day snorkel, kayak, and sail sunset cruise with Danger Charters. Our group consisted of 20 people---a perfect number. By the end of the day, we all knew each other by name--including our Captain and 2 guides. The guides/captain were all very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. They went above and beyond my expectations for a tourist attraction. The weather was cool that day, and Brian and Billy (the guides) passed out extra jackets and towels to keep us more comfortable. The snacks they served were excellent, and they were always eager to refill our beverages (sodas, beer, wine, water). They gave us the perfect amount of time for snorkeling and sailing, describing the areas we were going into and what we should look for. Our kayak around the mangrove island was informative, laid back, and fun. I had never kayaked before, and they gave us the proper amount of instruction and time to get the hang of it. We had so much fun! This was totally worth the price ($75) and much better than similar charters that put 100 people on a boat. Would recommend this highly and would love to tour again with them if the opportunity presents!

This crew is FUN! They are 100% dedicated to making sure everyone has the experience of a lifetime. Professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining. There wasn't any wind, so we didn't sail. However, that meant we had some exceptional visibility for the snorkeling and easy riding for the kayaking, which were the activities we came for. I was kind of nervous about snorkeling in open water, but they definitely made me feel safe. We saw lots of tropical fish, birds, and we even saw three different pods of dolphins, some with babies. Dennis (captain) and Wendy (mate) were very cool. They made us feel at home and were very knowledgable about the ocean reef. They have a smaller boat that can get to the more wild side of the reef, so you enjoy uncommercialized snorkeling and kayaking. We also took a trip with another company that was fun, but the Danger experience was way more personal. It was so relaxing and fun. If we ever get to go back, we will be going with Danger!

I had never been snorkeling, and had only kayaked once. The Danger group (Chris, Cory, and Billy) were WONDERFUL!! They were very informative about the sea life, mangroves, and birds. We had the best time!! I highly recommend this tour to ANYONE going down to Key West. Being in the small group (we had 5 people and 3 tour guides) gave you more one-on-one time, and you didn't feel like a face in the crowd. I did a lot of research before we took our trip, and the Danger company's snorkeling trip had the best customer reviews. After going, it's easy to see why! I want to thank the crew that we had on our tour....you guys were wonderful! This tour was our first 'activity' to do while in Key West, and it was our favorite - by far! Thank you again, and we will DEFINITELY be seeing you all the next time we're down there!

This trip was by far the standout activity we did on our honeymoon. The 3:30 departing trip allows a great chance to see a beautiful sunset. In addition to the timing, the crew was dedicated to getting to know each of its passengers. My husband and I also noticed that the other snorkel and sail trips' boats were packed! We were so glad we paid the little extra money for the experience we had.

The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The locations were very beautiful some of the best around. I highly recommend!!

I had an AWESOME time with Danger. They are really friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help you out with any activites you are not familiar with. I wish i had more time, i would have gone out with them again!

My boyfriend, two guy friends, and I went for a half day trip in the morning. The weather was awesome - overcast for the kayaking part of the trip so it was nice and cool, and then it got sunnier for snorkeling and the ride back to Key West. Our guides were Tony and Wendy and our Captain was Corey. Super nice people! They were very knowledgeable about the keys and the wildlife there. They also were super personable and knew everyone's names pretty quickly. The fruit tray that Tony made was awesome - it had kiwi, pineapple, mangos, and more. I would definitely recommend this trip to any of my friends. Worth the money for sure!
