Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

We were a group of 6 28-30 year olds and I can honestly say this trip was the highlight of our Key West vacation. The boat crew was amazing- they not only made sure we were comfortable and having a great time, they also told us so much about the boat history, Key West history, and wildlife. We learned so much and we never would have thought it would have been so fun. Kayaking was super easy, and snorkeling too even for someone very inexperienced. They have all the equipment you need and they even serve beer. wine, and snacks as you sail around. I would recommend this trip to anyone even families.

Good weather is luck - we had it. Personable and knowledgeable skipper/guides - not a matter of luck. Haig (captain) and Don (first mate? and eco/nature guide) were fun to share the day with. Nice snorkeling - we saw adequate # of fish and a bonus stingray. Kayaking among mangroves as Don provided the fascinating facts about mangroves - very nice. Simple food was delicious; plenty of beer/wine/sodas/water. Carribean music to sail by...fun fellow passengers. What more could you ask for? All in all, a great day on and in the water.

We had a wonderful time on our snorkeling and kayaking trip. Despite the gloomy weather, the trip was great. The crew was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about sailing and the area we went to. It turned out to be a great birthday present for my sister!

I've taken a cheaper snorkel trip in Key West in the past though one of the bigger companies. This was a bit more $ but WAY better. The other company used a large catamaran, fills it with as many drunk people as possible (50-70) and drops anchor in the middle of waters that are really much too rough for snorkeling. This trip takes about 12-14 people out in a sail boat to a very calm area. Although I wouldn't say that snorkeling in Key West even compares to the snorkeling in some of the carribean islands, it was still a nice relaxing experience. I think the most unique part of the trip was the kayak around the mangroves where you get a nice introduction to the plants & animals of the area. The greatest strength of this tour was balance: Not too short or long free beer, wine & good quality snacks but not an obnoxious booze cruise relaxing yet entertaining active but doable for a non-athletic person like myself an opportunity to see a little nature The service/crew were friendly, helpful & informative ..not too wacky or over the top

Just returned from Key West. Took the half day sail, kayak, and snorkel with Danger Charters. It really was a highlight of our trip. Corey and Haig(sorry about spelling?) were our outstanding crew. Both were very knowledgeable and constantly watched out for our safety and comfort. We will definitely go again on our next trip.

My husband and I had a fabulous time with Danger Charters. The boat was beautiful, the crew (Capt D and Don) wonderful and the snorkeling and kayaking were awesome. Lunch and snacks were tasty. There is absolutely nothing they could have done to make the day more perfect. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Heather from Iowa.

Me (49), husband (44), son (26) and fiancee (24), son (13), daughter (17) really enjoyed this thoroughly. I suprised my family with it, booked in advance on internet after doing my research into similar excursions in Key West chose Danger due to reviews on Trip Advisor. We went on December 30th. Captain, and crew Chris and Brian made it very comfortable for all experience levels and enjoyable with their really impressive knowledge of the area and the birds/ocean life that we could expect to/did see. They seemed to really enjoy what they do for a living. Some of our party chose not to snorkel while others chose not to kayak, and they did not feel out of place for doing so, they just hung out on the boat (which was a beautiful sailboat by the way) and relaxed/had a beer etc. It was a fairly small group on board also, a mix of couples/families/teens/small children. And we had drinks/food which was an extra bonus too.... We highly recommend this excursion, 1/2 day was perfect for us as we had to get to our parasailing trip after that, and with limited time (2 days) in Key West 1/2 day gave us time to do it all....THANKS!!!!

My husband and I had never gone snorkeling or kayaking before, but a friend had gone on this Danger Tour and highly recommended it. My husband was a little anxious because he's not a very strong swimmer, but the captain and the two man crew were great. They showed us exactly what to do, and had all the right equipment onboard for us to use. The crew were well prepared, and we felt very comfortable and safe. We did not know the other passengers, but it didn't take long, with the help of the crew, for us all to become friends. They provided us with fresh fruit and drinks, and there was a restroom available. All in all it was a great day!

CORY AND YANN WERE EXCELLANT GUIDES, EVEN BEFORE WE GOT ON THE BOAT. GAVE EXCELLANT INFORMATION, AND TRAINING. I CAN'T SWIM, BUT FELT COMFORTABLE ENOUGHT TO GO SNORKELING. ALSO WENT KAYAKING. OUR KAYAK FLIPPED AND IN LESS THAN A SECOND YANN WAS THERE TO HELP US (i DIDN'T PANIC AND GOT RIGHT BACK IN!!) YANN WS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE KEY WEST ECO SYSTEM. WOULD DO THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

Went with a few friends for a bachlorette weekend and had an amazing time. The visibility prevented us from being able to do the snorkling, but the kayaking was great. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable.
