Snorkel, Kayak & Sail - Danger's Key West 1/2-Day

The half day snorkel-kayak trip was great fun. The boat was much smaller than some of the other boats that go out. This made for a more personable and enjoyable experience (there were only about 15-20 of us). The crew were fantastic and tended to our every need throughout the trip. They shared information about the area, added humor to the trip, and ensured the safety of all participants. We were hoping to kayak through the mangroves rather than just around them, but that part was still fun. We got to see some interesting wild life and frigate birds. My husband and I really enjoyed our time in Key West and would definitely recommend Danger!

If you don't have extremely high expectations, this is a great way to spend an afternoon in Key West. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their jobs. The sunset was beautiful and liked that it was a smaller group (compared to some of the other snorkeling tours). I definitely recommend it!

The tour is an excellent morning or afternoon activity to do in Key West. There is a great mix of history, activity, drinking, eating, and boating. The guys who run the tours are really awesome and make the tour that much better. The snorkeling site is excellent and the kayaking as well. Please note for the 3:30 tour it even included the sunset which was a wonderful way to end the day. If you have kids this would be a great tour for them as well.

If you only do one thing in Key West, TAKE THIS TOUR! You see so much, do so much, and learn so much about the area, the sea, the wildlife, the fish! The captain, mates and boat are wonderful! And to top it all off, you get excellent fresh fruit, wine and other snacks!

The afternoon 1/2 day cruise was definitely the highlight of our trip to Key West. Everyone in the crew was so friendly and helpful, and the small group size on the boat made it very enjoyable. We learned a lot about the history of the Keys and formation of the mangrove islands as we Kayaked around Mule Key, and saw a nice variety of fish, crabs, etc. during the snorkeling. We didn't want it to end. All in all, we certainly got our money's worth with Danger Charters. Highly recommended!

exceeded my expectations,crew was great ,provided plenty of info about what we were seeing.went out of their way to see to everyones comfort and safety.this type of trip is so dependent on weather and sea conditions ,luckily these were great for our trip.Danger charters is the way to go.

We took this excursion while our cruise ship docked in Key West. Our cruise ship docked at the same pier Danger is located at, so it was very convenient. I am so glad we booked a local excursion rather than taking the cattle call excursion associated with the cruise lines. We had 4 deck hands for 20 guests. Our deck hands were very personable, provided everything we needed, and were great fun to be around. We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and would absolutely recommend to anyone. I loved the combination of kayak and snorkel - not to worry if you are not familiar with kayaking or snorkeling. Our deck hands were in the water with us at all times and helped to find interesting things to look at while kayaking/snorkeling.

This was a great trip. From the moment we stepped onto the boat, the crew made us feel welcome and safe. It was a beautiful day, with very little wind. We didn't get to really "sail" because of the calm air, but that's ok. I am a self-proclaimed "chicken of the sea," so I really appreciated the time and attention the crew gave to snorkel prep. Two of the crew were in the water with us, pointing out sights and taking pictures. The crew were very knowledgeable on the flora, fauna and history of the area.

I was invited by friends to join them on this adventure. I had been on sailboats out of Key West before but had always stayed on the boat and watched without getting in the water. This time my friends convinced me to try the kayaking (although I did not agree to try the snorkeling as I am not a swimmer and that did not interest me). They told me they enjoyed the kayaking much more than the snorkeling. I am glad I tried the kayaking. The crew was great, and we had good weather and a very pleasant view of the sun setting on the gulf. I would do this again.
