Danger Charters

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the Wind & Wine sailing tour. The Danger Charter crew were fun, knowledgeable, and courteous. The sunset was fantastic, as was the wine. We sailed with about 15 people and all had a great time. I recommend this trip for those looking to see another side of Key West.

We are a family of three.The capitan and its crew are friendly but not extremely enthusiastic about us. My daughter is 11 and its our first time to snokel and kayak. They don't really teach us how to do it. I don't think they give enough training to first timers, but since the place they take us to is very calm and there is no worries. I really think they can improve their service by giving more attention to first timers. Other than that, the trip is fun.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 1/2 Day sailing, snorkeling and kayaking adventure with the Danger Charter crew. The crew was fantastic, fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. They enjoy making sure that everyone has a good time. I appreciated the fact that Danger is an environmentally conscious outfit. I recommend this tour for anyone who is looking to for a relaxing day time adventure in Key West.

The sail, snorkel, kayak trip was awesome. The crew was amazing, laid back, and friendly. They made us feel like family. They knew alot about the location, the wildlife, and the waters. I would recommend this trip to everyone. By the end of the day we were all feeling like old friends on the boat! Thanks to the crew who made the trip memorable!

The snorkeling paled in compairison to most other places that I have been. The area was drab and gray and so were the fish. I have seen so many colorful diverse fish and ocean life when snorkeling in the Caribbean to include Cozumel, Dominica, St. Martin, Bonaire, Grand Cayman and Turks and Caicos. And, the Bahamas, Roatan, and Hawaii. This snorkel experience was the worst experience I have ever had. Very poor. The Kayaking was a little better and while going through the Mangrove Trees, we saw a nurse shark below us. However, that thrill was undermined when our guide had little regard for other marine life. He picked up and squeezed a couple of sea cucumbers causing liquid to exit both ends of the creature. This caused others including an 11 year old child to do the same. I think they may have killed them or injured at the very least. I asked them to stop. I told them that they might be killing the creatures. Then, our guide picked up a horshoe crab. And, after holding it for quite some time flung it out into the water. No need for me to see him do that. I did not appreciate the disruption of the creature from its habitat. Perhaps he could point it out for us to look at, but no need to touch and show utter disregard for marine life as he did. The Captain was delightful as were his crew until the trip was spoiled with these antics I have just described. Other persons on our boat we had never met before made similiar comments regarding their unhappiness with this as well.

There are many excellent reviews detailing the particulars of this trip on the web. No need to restate. The crew was fantastic! The amount of time spent on the half day trip (4.5hrs) was just right. And we learned several things about marine life. Be aware that snorkeling in the Keys, in general, is often a cloudy, silty affair. There is plenty to see but don't expect the clear blue waters of other tropical locations. With the help of the staff, we located lobsters, moray eels, crabs, blue tangs, and even a small (barb-less) sting ray! The kayaking was a fun addition that we haven't done before...getting up close and personal with a mangrove was great! Snacks (chips & dips) and beverages (soda, beer, water) served onboard afterwards. Highly recommend this outfit!

.... Great sunset .... Great experience ! A MUST do when in Key West. Next time back will do it again and add the diving package too. Went with a girlfriend and she was very impressed too ... that being said I'd even go on the cruises if I'm in Key West solo when I go down on my bike for a weekend get-away .....

We've been coming to Key West for 15 years and now live here part time, but this was our first experience with Danger Cruises. Wow, what we've been missing! This was a fabulous time with a great crew (Don, Cray and Evan). We'll definitely do the sunset cruise again and plan to try some of the other cruises as well.

Me and wife were on your sunset cruise and had a blast. My wife usually does not enjoy boating but stated that this was her favorite part of our visit to keywest. The staff was friendly and really made it a great evening. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting key west. Thanks for a great evening

My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, informative day on the water. The crew is very knowledgeable about the wild life and a real asset in helping us land lovers see it. They also know how to help us all unwind while on the boat. Many thanks to all and we would do it again with out giving it a second thought.

My wife and I took part in the 1/2 day kayak, snorkel and sail adventure. Weather beautiful. The crew were helpful, funny, knowledgeable and extremely personable. They made the trip a lot of fun. The kayaking around the beautiful waters of Key West and Mangroves was a real treat. Snorkeling in crystal blue water and seeing, crabs, turtles, lobsters, eels, all sorts of fish, nurse shark, sting ray...Awesome. Highly Recommend this trip.
