Danger Charters

This is a professional operation, the two guys running this Dennis and John were very freindly and knowledgeable. They were both very attentive to our needs and spent time training and helping us when we needed it. This tour was great and I recommend it to anyone who like to snorkal and kayak.

Captin and crew were excellent. More people than we had antisipated and good old mother nature did not provide the sunset we were looking for... can't controll that though. Trip could be a little longer. More time to taste the different wines. In all a good trip and one I'd recommend. We met some very nice people. thanks,

Crew was enthusiastic and did a great job. Loved the snorkeling, kayaking, and the lunch. We also enjoyed hanging out at a sandbar. However, it was advertised as going to a deserted island and hanging out at the beach which did not happen. Don't know why. It would have been nice tho. Anyway, the trip was still a lot of fun.

Great trip, great crew

We had a WONDERFUL time on the cruise. The CREW was excptional - VERY friendly and knowlegable. They went way out of their way to make us feel like we were family! Thier positive attitude (not to mention the unbelivably beautiful sunset!) made for a world class experience. We highly recommend that visitors to Key West make this a MUST DO !

I and my wife took the trip on Danger Charters' 1/2 day sailing, snorkelling and kayaking trip and it was the highlight of our Key West trip. The group was small (10-11 tourists and 3 guides) and the whole experience was well managed by the guys who worked the boat. The guides were enthusiastic, energetic and were having as much fun as we were. The guide for kayaking knew his stuff about local birds and marine ecology, and it was more than just spending time on a boat. We really got to know the history of the local reefs, the birds' migratory patterns and other stuff. On the boat, the guides were very friendly and constantly trying to chat with every member of the group, either offering food and drinks every few minutes or serving suggestions about local eat haunts in the Key West. Totally recommended experience! One Downside: You really need to have snorkelled before, because there wont be a lot of basic training on the spot.

Friendly crew, fantastic service, wonderful vessel. Sails up on the open water aboard the Sarah was a romantic and awesome experience for my girlfriend and I. A wonderful palette of wine, friendly conversation with fellow vacationers; Danger truly made our vacation fantastic.

The full-day Danger Charter trip was great. The boat is fun, with a great crew and very manageable number of passengers (14), and the activities were all excellent. Highly recommend this. Be ready for lots of sun exposure. While there is shade on the boat, the kayaking and snorkling still give you a couple hours in full sun. We did not see a lot of color where we snorkled, but the fish and lobster were plentiful and we got to see a good sized Nurse Shark. Very cool.

My wife and I had a great time with the crew and other guest on our full day cruise. The snorkeling was wonderful. We were first time kayakers and had a blast. Wendy and Yanni "Big Perm" was wonderful host and took care of everything we needed. The lunch was a good selection of deli cuts and pasta salads. Simple fare but very good. Yanni was right when he said we would not run out of beer! Captain Dennis was very entertaining with his knowledge and stories about the keys.

HI, I LOVED THE CRUISE, THE FOOD, THE SNOKLELING AND EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE AND FUN... BUT I HAVE A A FEW RESERVATIONS: 01. THE FINS THEY GAVE ME TO WEAR ON MY FEET WERE A SIZE TOO LARGE. I WANTED 8-9 ZISE, BUT THEY GAVE ME 9-10 SIZE. THEY DID NOT HAVE 8-9 SIZE. THEREFORE, I ENDED UP WITH TERRIBLE BLISTERS. THE DAY BEFORE I WENT ON SEBAGO AND HAD RECEIVED 8-9 SIZE AND IT HAD WORKED WELL FOR ME, NO BLISTERS. 02. WENDY TOUCHED A NURSE SHARK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN FLOOR TO WAKE HIM UP SO WE COULD SEE IT. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO THE KEY WEST OCEANERIUM (IN FRONT OF THE SHIP WRECK MUSEUM) AND GOT INTO TROUBLE WHEN I TOUCHED THE NURSE SHARK. THE GUARD SAID THESE SHARKS ARE VERY DANGEROUS. THE GUARDS CALLED MY ATTENTION FOR TOUCHING ONE IN THE HOLDING POOL. THEY SAID THESE SHARKS BITE AND LOCK THEIR JAWS. THE ONLY WAY TO LET GO WOULD BE TO BREAK ITS SPINE OR ITS JAW (EITHER WAY IT DIES)... LATER I ALSO SAW DURING THE FEEDING ACTIVITY THAT ONE NURSE SHARK ATE A LARGE FISH ( SIZE OF A HUMAN FOREARM) OFFERED TO HIM IN LESS THEN A FRACTION OF A SECOND. IT SNAPPED THE FISH FASTER THAN A BIRD COULD S***. I FEARED FOR WENDY. PLEASE ASK WENDY NOT TO TOUCH THEM ANYMORE. LAST NIGHT I SAW A VIDEO OF A NURSE SHARK ATTACKING A MAN DURING TOURIST SHOW IN A SEA RESORT. I AM SURE SHE MEANT WELL, BUT SHE COULD GET HURT. 03. THE KAYACKING WAS DONE LATE IN THE DAY AND FOR A LONG TIME (AROUND AN ISLAND). I WAS SUPER TIRED. I DID NOT KNOW IT WOULD BE SO MUCH WORK TO KAYAK AGAINST THE OCEAN CURRENT. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED IF THE BOAT HAD GOTTEN CLOSER TO THE ISLAND, THUS MINIMIZING THE TASK ON THE WAY BACK. VERY TIRING ACTIVITY.

The staff on the boat, smart, knew everything, and helpful. They taught me how to snorkel, kayak properly, and taught me a lot about the environment that we were in, and they were very enthusiastic about it too. The boat trip itself, comfy, not crowded by any means, great food, great sites I will do this trip again if I get the chance.

My wife my two adult sons and I went on the daytime sail. It is truly an awesome experience. The food was good. The crew was great. We were taken to a secluded spot that could only be described as paradise. I would highly recomend this trip.

Danger tours was a very fun and professional group. The crew's ages and experiences related directly to the different age groups. Haig was a very good captain that had fun but was in command. Kristy was the hardest worker and catered to everyone's needs. Jon the youngest was the most fun yet still maintained his professionalism. He related to all age groups. John was the new kid on the block as far as the crew was concerned. John complimented the rest of the crew. Food was simple, healthy and very tasty. Beer was not bad either. The sailing was very relaxing. The snorkeling was fun however the different species of fish and abundance of fish were scarce. May be another location would serve better. Kayaking trip was informative learning about the Mangroves and local species. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. I would recommend this for couples or families that want a stress relieving adventure.

Great wine, fun and attentive staff, small group of travelers...highly recommended

The Sail started 30 minutes late and I thought that booking this sailing tour was going to be a mistake. But, boy was I wrong. Captain Dennis and his crew ( Wendy and Brian) were fabulous. Dennis was pleasant and engaging. Wendy and Brian waited on everyone like we were royality. My wife and I found this cruise to be our favorite activity while were in Key West and we will definitely do this cruise the next time we are in Key West.
