Danger Charters

We sailed with Danger last May with my husband's parents (who are in their 60's). We had a great time and thought we (parent's included) would try it again this year. Hats off to Captain D and Sunshine! We had lots of wind but due to the experience of the crew, we sailed out and had a beautiful day. Everything was great: food, drink and activities. If you have an opportunity to spend the day with Danger, take it! We hope you have as much fun as we did.

We had a wonderful cruise on the Danger Charter's Wind and Wine. The staff was great!! Very knowledgeable and friendly, there was a wonderful selection of wines that we thoroughly enjoyed. The weather was a bit choppy the night of our cruise, but the captain and crew did a great job. We enjoyed visiting with the other passengers and we loved the fact that it was a small cruise, and not totally packed like some of the other sunset cruises in Key West. We can't say enough about how great this evening was. We will definitely be back to cruise with Danger again when we return to Key West. Great Job!!!

We highly recommend the Danger Charter full day snorkeling/kayaking trip. The activities were well planned and the staff was friendly and knowledgable. We had lots of questions about them, the trip and the Keys in general. The staff was happy to answer the questions and were easy to talk to.

I quickly found out that the Full Day excursion at Danger Charters is the best way to spend a day in Key West. From the second you board the 65 ft sailboat, you are treated like royality. Best part of this trip, is the fact that there are no more then 20 people charted for this excursion (my trip had 11). The crew learned everyones name and were very welcoming and knowledgeable. They feed and water you all day long, and are there for the guests. They aim to please, and mission accomplished!

We were a married couple in our 60's. We enjoyed the small group- 24 or so- the delightful, knowledgeable crew of 3 (who actually learned our names), the healthy snacks, the snorkeling and the kayaking. The sailboat was an historic replica of a Chesapeake oyster boat- a skipjack- the sails were put up but we had to motor a lot of the way- too bad- to reach the mangrove islands and get back in 5 hours. We think it is probably the best charter in Key West. 1/2 day was enough for us- enough sun!

After going on many snorkeling trips in Key West over the years this was BY FAR the BEST! The crew was delightful and full of knowledge. If you want a relaxing and enjoyable experience on the water take this trip!! We did the half day which was plenty of time, but are looking forward to a full day trip during our next visit.

Highly recommended. Captain and crew were enjoyable and skilled. Trip was exactly as advertised. Would do this one again.

This was a very enjoyable evening. Great wine, lots of appetizers, great captain and crew. My only complaint is that I wish it had been longer - I don't think anyone was ready to go back to shore!

The crew were very accommodating and saw to the every need of the customers. It was a great night to be out on the water, and we were glad to be on one of your boats. The schooner was very comfortable, and didn't at all feel "crowded." We saw a number of other sailboats/catamarans that were out on the water for similar events and their decks were just overflowing with people. You guys managed to execute a great event with just the right amount of flair and class!

Danger charter was one of the best things we did in key west. It was the first time I was snorklimg and the crew took 20 minutes specially to teach me. It wouldnt have been possible to enjoy this experiance if he wouldnt have tought me... The whole experiance is worth the price. I would recommend it to everyone..

We had a great time on the water with Danger Charters! The crew (Haig, Chris and Wendy) were fantastic hosts and very informative. The weather was perfect and I would highly recommend Danger to anyone traveling to the Keys and want to sail, snorkel and kayak.

Our skipper Haig was great! His crew Mindy and Sunshine helped out in every way. The entire day was filled fwith good times. I liked it so much I signed up for the Sunset Cruise with Haig. Don't lose him. We are looking forward to seeing him on our next visit.

I had organized this trip for my boyfriend's birthday as a surprise...and boy, was he surprised! To start off, we could not find parking. The man who handled the phone for danger charters was very patient with giving me directions every-step-of the way and suggested a much cheaper place to park than the marina. Once we got to the marina, we only had a short wait before we were on the roomy boat. The crew immediately was very friendly and enthusiastic while greeting us with water. They had gone through the safety/ trip itinerary speech quickly and we were on our way. The views were stunning! while we were getting to the snorkeling spot, we got a chance to mingle and get to know our fellow passengers. It was really quite a group. Again, the crew was very patient and helpful with snorkeling gear and very knowledgeable about the environment we were about to enter. I had taken an underwater camera and I ABSOLUTELY recommend spending the extra 20 bucks to do that. The photos did come out blurry because the wind caused sand to stir up so the visibility was not ideal. However, get your photos developed onto a cd and enhance them at home--i strongly recommend media impressions..the auto enhance instantly made my photos clear and brought out the beautiful colors. You have ample time to snorkel Next was lunch..everything was very fresh and from the local market. the curried chicken I think was the majority's favorite (definitely was mine). At the same time they served a wide array of soft drinks, beer (heineken and yuengling as well as miller light) and wine, which was wonderful. The kayaking was a guided eco-tour and we even got to enter the mangroves. It was quite an experience. The ride back was about an hour of drinking, socializing, and really wishing it all didn't end so soon lol (even though we did the full day trip!) Thank you guys!

We had a group of five, went on the 9:30 am departure for kayaking & snorkeling. The winds were good that day and we were actually able to sail out to our first destination - kayaking. Wade & Chris were the Danger crew aboard our trip and they were very friendly and informative. Had a great time - highly recommend them.
