Danger Charters

The crew was outstanding! They were personable, got the group talking to each other, helps us appreciate what we were seeing. They were respectful and helpful to those who had never been kayaking or snorkeling and watchful but less involved with the more experienced participants! I would recommned Danger to anyone who visits Key West!

We took the afternoon 1/2 day snorkel, kayak, and sail sunset cruise with Danger Charters. Our group consisted of 20 people---a perfect number. By the end of the day, we all knew each other by name--including our Captain and 2 guides. The guides/captain were all very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. They went above and beyond my expectations for a tourist attraction. The weather was cool that day, and Brian and Billy (the guides) passed out extra jackets and towels to keep us more comfortable. The snacks they served were excellent, and they were always eager to refill our beverages (sodas, beer, wine, water). They gave us the perfect amount of time for snorkeling and sailing, describing the areas we were going into and what we should look for. Our kayak around the mangrove island was informative, laid back, and fun. I had never kayaked before, and they gave us the proper amount of instruction and time to get the hang of it. We had so much fun! This was totally worth the price ($75) and much better than similar charters that put 100 people on a boat. Would recommend this highly and would love to tour again with them if the opportunity presents!

Chris, Christian and Heague, our crew, were great from the second we stepped onto the dock. The sailing portion along with the description of the ocean, its channels and the surrounding wildlife was great. The kayaking was amazing, while we searched for as much wildlife, and interesting sea creatures was alot of fun. The snorkeling was done in an area that visibility was prime. The crew really wanted us to have a great experience. The food was amazing, the crew was very, very attentive to everyone and their needs. I cant wait to go sailing with them again.

Picked this cruise on the recommendation of the Concierge at the hotel. Wanted a sunset sail without the spring break crowd. It was excellent. Heavily passed and excellent Hors d'oeuvres, and a great selection of both red and white wines (including a sparkling wine). Beer and soft drinks available as well. Crew was both knowledgeable and entertaining. If you're looking for a relaxed sunset experience in Key West, this is for you. Highly recommended.

The weather cooperated and we had a great day sailing with Capn Dennis and Chris and Don! We even got to see bottlenosed dolphins heading out and into port!! The snorkeling was good and kayaking very cool! Food and drinks made for a perfect day!

Had a great time on the half day trip. Weather was nice - glad to have the wet suits though! Not a lot to see on the snorkeling part - some sponges, a lobster, etc. Paddling in kayaks around the mangroves was great! The crew was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We went out on the full day trip with Captain Dennis and Wendy and could hardly have asked for a better time. One of the things that stuck out most was how much fun the crew was having. Dennis was really thrilled about getting a rare wind allowing us to sail all the way back to the marina and Wendy was getting excited about all the animal life we saw during the kayak trip. The snorkeling was pretty average - we couldn't go to the best spots because it was windy - but the food, kayaking, and sailing were all wonderful. Definitely recommended (especially with that crew).

Friends in Colorado told us we had to do the Sunset wine tasting cruise. We had a great time, meet wonderful people and had a great sail. Fun to do in Key West. When we come back we want to do the6 hours all day sail!!!

We went on the Danger Charters afternoon half-day sail. Everyone we dealt with from start to finish was professional, knowledgeable, and focused on customer service (making sure we had fun!). Only about 14 people plus the 3 crew members, so we were all well taken care of. The keys don't provide very colorful snorkeling, but we saw a stingray, a lobster, & lots of sponges of course. We broke into 2 smaller groups for a guided kayak paddle around an emerging mangrove island. Very cool -- we saw a nurse shark, bald eagle, & lots of other cool nature. Saw the sun set as we headed back, with a camera in one hand and a beer in the other. This was our favorite day in Key West.

My husband and I and two 21 year olds attended. All of us had a great time and would definitely recommend this to others. The crew was very friendly, very informative and attentive. Our kayak tour was great and the kids loved the snorkeling. My husband and I did not snorkel but enjoyed watching those who did. Some crew remained on board with us so we didn't feel left out. The kids loved it and we would do it again if we return to Key West.

We were very lucky and got GREAT weather! The guys were super cool and literally were @ your every beck and call. There was plenty of alcohol and food to go around and everyone was so nice! I recommend this way better than any of the gimmicky stuff (hint hint Fury). I feel like you get a much more personal experience and you go places that others wouldn't normally take you. For the price your paying, you get a fabulous trip. We did the full-day trip and I really feel like that's the way to go, very relaxing and easy sailing. A truly amazing experience!

The cruise was great, the staff very responsive and friendly, and the sunset was spectacular. I would recommend this to anyone for a great evening.

Very relaxing day on the water. The long winter left the water very cold for this time of year. The captain gave the seven of us on board the option to swap the snorkle and kayak portions to allow for the sun to warm things up for the day. The food was very good and the Danger crew was very knowledgable about the history of the area. We were lucky and had a strong wind to sail all the way to Man Key. Kayaking around the island was very cool and seeing the birds fish was a first for me. After feeling the water while at Man Key the group decided to pass on snorkling. That allowed more time for sailing back which the captain allowed each of us to take a turn at the wheel. We also saw a dolphin and a turtle during our trip. Overall a very relaxing day on the water. My girlfriend and I are looking forward to our next trip with Danger.

Trish and I had a fantastic time, even though it was unseasonably chilly. Good wine, good cheese, salty wind, the open sea and some great company. What a blast! We loved every second of it. No dolphin sightings, but the blue-green phosphorescence in our bow wave was fascinating to watch at dusk.

My husband and I have been to Key West several times but this was a first for us and we loved it. I am currently pregnant. There were plenty of non alcoholic beverages in addition to all of the wine and beer. In addition there were plenty of yummy appetizers passed around. Veggies along with cheese and crackers. The sunset was beautiful. The crew members were great. They were very attentive with making sure we always had something to drink along with bringing the appetizers around for us to sample. We will probably do it again the next time we are in Key West.
