Great Wine and Service

We were completely thrilled with our experience - the Sarah boat was wonderful and we did not feel crowded. The wind was light, but the boat was kept moving by light motor power and we had the full sails up so it was very scenic. The crew served really great wine and we discovered some new labels that were very pleasing that we plan to purchase at home. The crew was very pleasant and friendly - attendant to our needs but not intrusive. When we saw a pod of dolphins nearby, they diverted the boat to get near the dolphins so we could observe them up close. Everyone on our trip, aged 9 to 55 loved the experience and we would go again given the chance. Oh, and the sunset was awesome too!

Rip off

This sunset sail was rated topmost and thats why I bought the tickets. It is a rip-off considering the size of the boat and the actual value in total. It is a tiny little boat and not at all recommended to go on with infants .We went with our 7month old daughter and did not enjoy at all as we were so worried about her safety at all times as the boat was so small and we sat at the side seating and could easily fall off of the boat.Maybe it is fun for people who are just looking to get drunk cos they serve alcohol (wine and beer mainly) as much as you want.Snacks served arent impressive..just some cheese, crackers, veggies with dip.For the amount we paid ($150 and change) for 2persons for 2 hrs I think it is a rip-off. I agree with some reviews here that the staff were very good and entertaining.

NICE TIME AND GREAT PEOPLE!

Couldn't say enough about the three that lead our expedition into the Gulf! D, John, and Sugar (or was it Candy!) were great. Even though our kayaks wouldn't get past the grass, we had a great time. Sunsets aren't so great until winter -- as we found out by the locals later--but, still had a GREAT TIME with a GREAT CREW. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. We are both retired and didn't feel out of place with those 30 and 40 year olds! SAILING WAS GREAT -- ONLY 14 ON OUR CREW -- NOT 100S LIKE SOME OF THE OTHER BOATS! THESE GUYS ARE LOCALS!

Highlight of our honeymoon!
Fri, Jul 3, 09   3:30 PM amlamb86 Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
This trip was by far the standout activity we did on our honeymoon. The 3:30 departing trip allows a great chance to see a beautiful sunset. In addition to the timing, the crew was dedicated to getting to know each of its passengers. My husband and I also noticed that the other snorkel and sail trips' boats were packed! We were so glad we paid the little extra money for the experience we had.

Wonderful day on the water with Danger!

This group provides a very high quality experience, from check in right through to return to the dock. We had a great day "motor sailing", snorkeling, and kayaking. The crew is experienced, knowledgeable and safety-focused, leaving their guests the freedom to relax and have fun. This is not a booze cruise, but a eco-conscious, educational good time. They fed us a fresh and substantial lunch on board, gave us plenty of time to enjoy the snorkeling, frolicking on a sand bar, and kayaking. We met very interesting people on the boat, who had a similar value-system to ours. (Read 'no trashy people or trashy talk or trashy behavior'.) We all had a great time, and will take family and friends out on the Danger day trip in the future.

Outstanding time on the Danger Snorkel/Kayak Sail

My wife and I were on vacation in Key West in June 2009 and Danger Charters was recommended to us by a friend that had recently taken their Snorkel/Kayak/Sunset Sail so we tried it out and had an oustanding time. The crew was awesome and made us feel right at home. They took the time to genuinely get to know all of the passengers and treated us to a get time. The afternoon we went sailing it actually rained while we were out there but that couldn't even dampen our spirits because the crew put up a canopy and the rain (daily afternoon showers) passed quickly. My wife said it was her favorite part of the entire trip. I would highly recommend Danger Charters.

great time, great people

The weather was not the best, we started out 30 minutes later than scheduled due to the rain and lightning. My wife and I had a great time. The crew, Megan, Bryan and Don were super. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. Always positive that the rain would stop. We kayaked first due to the weather, super stuff. We saw nerf sharks mating. Some big ones too. We were amazed, got a excellent history of the mangrove and how they filter the salt from the water to live. Rain finally stopped and we were on to snorkel, it wasn't the very best we had , but it was still very kool. Very safe - jackets & noodles were there if you wanted. The lunch was good, plenty to eat. They also had sodas, water, and adult beverages (beer & wine). The adult beverage stuff was for after the snorkel. We never felt rushed through the day. Too bad the sun was not out for the whole day, but that's life in the Keys.

Relaxing evening

A great way to spend the evening, watch the sunset, meet new people and taste a variety of wines. Even though you don't travel very far from the docks you get a great view of the sunset. The crew is friendly and your glass need never be empty. We had a great time even though it was a somewhat cloudy evening. I'd very much recommend this trip.

A full day of fun

A great way to spend a day in the Keys if you don't have your own boat. The charter is just long enough to have a full day of activities without being tiresome. Bear in mind the weather plays a big factor and no one has control of that. Our day was a bit choppy and that made the snorkeling a little less enjoyable. The kayaking was a ball, we could have spent another hour or so on that. The crew is great and really takes care of you, the other passengers..... well thats all up to luck. One recommendation, if you use the aerosol spray sunscreen put it on before boarding as they don't want it sprayed on the boat and it just doesn't work well when sprayed into your hands and applied that way.

BEAUTIFUL!!!

Danger's Wind and Wine sail was nothing less than luxurious! Not only did we get to see an amazing summer sunset in Key West (which is awesome in itself), but we also got to be completely pampered by the crew who constantly were serving up wine (a worldly selection) and hor'dourves (very tasty). It was a very intimate setting (about 20 or so people) which made everything that much more wonderful (a lot of the sunset cruises in Key West have like 50 + people on board). This trip is certainly worth doing more than once!!!

The staff was very accomodating, and we just had a wonderful time. The staff took time to explain the different wine selections, and our cups were never empty.

Everything about our experience was top-notch. Especially enjoyed talking with Cory, the captain. A truly special and memorable experience. P.S. I knew when it was going to be good as a couple of young staff at the Westin had said they'd "done it, and wish they could go on the sunset cruise much more often."
