Contrary to their description of their excursion furnished by the charter operator to websites, their representation that "on this trip we take a max of 23 people" is NOT TRUE. On Friday, February 15th 2008 the guest count exceeded 30 people - more than a third more passengers than they represented - on a vessel that is considerably smaller than others on which sunset sailing excusions are offered. This excursion is marketed, in part, as less crowded than other (moderately priced) sunset excusions. While we did enjoy the sunset cruise, and would recommend it other couples, we would dissappointed that the the operator resorts to such misrepresentations to promote their business.

Great trip, good price, not crowded (15 passengers) - good crew to passenger ratio (3 crew). Keep up this continued great service for a great price.

PROS: Guides that are more involved than most and definitely more educational. If you are just looking for a booze cruise with snorkling and kayaking, this is not it. This is an educational trip where you'll learn something before the vino makes you forget it all. This trip is good for kids as our guides (Keith, Chris and Don) were energetic and gave lots of attention to the little ones on board. Keith is a bit too Bob Saget-like for me, but he does show he cares about his job. On a side note, I also like how I was able to securely book online before leaving home. CONS: Too overpriced in my opinion. Usual half day snorkle/kayak tours in the area are around $45/person, while this was $75/person. Also, no place to lay down on the boat. Upright seats and standing room only (as it's a sailboat and not your usual catamaran tour where there is more room to lay around). Not much food also. I'm a small girl, but others were left hungry when the chips & dip and fruit ran out after 30 minutes.

The people were nice. Food was great. Fun times and great local flavor.

We booked the day trip with Danger Charters and thoroughly enjoyed it. Keith, Don and Meegan were a friendly, very knowledgeable crew. The sailing boat only holds about 15 people if that, so there were no crowds of people like there are on some of the other trips. The food at lunchtime was lovely, much nicer than we have had on other trips. We sailed out to a reef to go snorkelling. All equipment was provided. One of the crew was in the water with us at all times. After lunch, we moved on to a sand bank, then kayaked through mangroves. We were split into 2 groups of 4 double kayaks each and were led around the little island. I would highly recommend this trip. Danger Charters do not advertise, they go by word of mouth and I think this speaks volumes in itself.

We really enjoyed our tour with Danger. Really liked the intimate setting of a smaller group. Gave a great chart talk during which we learned more about the area. Both snorkeling and kayaking were fun.

We had a wonderful trip, the staff was knowledgeable, courteous and entertaining. We felt safe at all times, well fed and hydrated!

We had an enjoyable time on this excursion. I was a little disappointed with the snorkeling portion of the acitvities but that was due to weather rather than the tour operator. Haig and Brian who lead our excursion were outstanding and provided us with an enjoyable and memorable experience. Thanks Pete

We sailed the Feb 29 Full Day tour with Haig, Brian and Ben and had a blast; While the water was a little too chilly for snorkeling for my tastes, the sailing and kayaking portions of the trip were fantastic. The crew definitely goes above and beyond to welcome everyone and ensure a great trip; On ours, a newlywed immediately lost his wedding ring when jumping in for the snorkel and after diving for it in about 6 feet of water with a crew member for ~10 minutes, the captain sent him off to try and enjoy his snorkel while they looked for it themselves. The crew continued to search diligently and before long Ben was back on deck victorious! Very cool and darn amazing, considering the drift of the boat and uneven bottom. If you're looking for a great day on the water, this is it. Funny: even the guy at the Fury booth in town said the Danger trip was the best around! haha

The half-day trip was just what we were looking for. A knowledgeable and friendly Captain and crew, Wade, Chrissy and Wendy, took care of our every need. They did everything from cutting up fresh fruit and serving us refreshments, to giving a detailed lecture about the history and formation of the keys and the wildlife & plant life we would encounter. Equipment was well maintained and plenty of help was available with it. The boat was beautiful and a lot of fun to sail on. Most of all, the crew made the day truly special. There wasn't anything they wouldn't do for us, and that feeling of being treated as a special guest made the experience something special. Whether a couple travelling without their children (like us), or a family with small children, they met everyone's needs expertly. I was even touched by how they taught some of the younger children how to tie slipnots to keep them from getting bored on the sail. We will make sure to include a Danger trip on any future visits to Key West!

My new husband and I had a blast. This is the first time I have ever been kayaking and snorkeling in the ocean and I cant wait to do it again. The crew was upbeat and wonderfully friendly. They put my fears at ease. Lunch was great, Tony and Keith were very attentive to our needs. It was a dream tour and if we are ever fortunate enough to go to the keys again, I will contact Danger to do it all again! THANKS!

The guides were very friendly and fun. The weather was beautiful. The destination was unique due to the size of the boat we were on; we could get into the more shallow areas. My husband and I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't a wild party boat; all the people were very nice and normal. We enjoyed the kayaking and seeing the many birds. We enjoyed the snorkeling and saw alot of fish.

My best friend and I (celebrating our 50th) went on this tour a few days ago and loved it! The weather was perfect, the boat was beautiful and the crew was fantastic. I was a little leary of the kayaking bit at first, but found it so easy to do. Our guide (a yummy young man) was very knowledgable and gave us alot of information on the sealife, and the surrounding area. The snorkeling was so-so. I have been to many snorkeling spots around the world and to be honest this wasn't very exciting. We only saw a couple of interesting fish, although the giant sponges were interesting. The crew was so much fun and we had a lot of laughs, they told us so much great info!. We enjoyed the fruit, chips and dips, the wines and other beverages. I think the whole group was sorry to pull up to the dock, I wish we would've gone on the whole day trip. I would definetly take this tour again. Thank you to the crew, you did a fantastic job!!!!
