The Desert Belle Paddleboat Cruise on Saguaro Lake was great. I've lived in Arizona for 8 years now, and have visited the lake many times, and even then learned a lot on the tour. The captain was very knowledgeable and explained not only about the lake, but the wildlife around it, the formation of the rocks, and even about Arizona.
I definitely recommend this tour. |

We really enjoyed the tour - our first time to Saguaro Lake. We had 2 teens with us and they liked it as well. We have lived in the Southwest for 6 years and would return again, especially with visitors. We saw a bald eagle and other birds. Would recommend it for a charter with a group - that way you could have more room and walk around. walk around a bit, with a bit more room. |

This is our 2nd time on the Desert Belle. The drive is scenic for our out of town family and we love to show them another side of Arizona. Everyone always says they want to relax in the Arizona "sun" and this is the way to go. This trip we sat in the front row - best view by far. Recommend sun screen - all four of us did get alittle sun-burned because we missed a few "spots". The Captain is a pleasant fellow and is very knowledgeable of the area. Bring your binoculars or just sit back and relax. I was fine with the 90 minute ride, but the other three would have preferred to not sit quite that long. The chairs are your typical folding style and I think if you brought along a boat cushion you would have more comfort.
We were looking forward to eating at the restaurant that is "right there". You have to climb quite a few stairs from the water side. (go around to the side for easier access) Our first visit was a pleasant one. Can't beat the outside patio view. This time the restaurant was not crowded but the service was very slow and they must have changed their style of food to 0% Trans Fat - the Fish n Chips and Onion Rings had that terrible after taste and were definetly missing that "fat" flavor that is necessary to all fried foods. Everyone has their own particular taste buds - so try it - the view is wonderful. |

Saguaro Lake was beautiful. It was hard to believe that we were in the desert.
The Desert Belle was a great experience and good value for the money.

The paddleboat cruise was most educational, relaxing, and very beautiful. The captain was most organized, experienced, and very well adversed of his surroundings. Would recommend strorngly to anyone considering taking the trip. |

We took my German cousins on this cruise and they too thought is was great. I thought it was fun to show them a lake in the desert, their first visit to Arizona and the U. S. . They fell in love with the desert and it's many wonders. |

A good meal at the marina's restraurant & a Paddleboat Cruise of Saguaro Lake...a wonderful day trip...a tad pricey but with the cost of paddles these days, what would you expect! |

My husband and I enjoyed the lunch and the boat ride. The captain was very interesting and entertaining. i would do it again if I had out of town guests visiting. The vistas are beautiful. |

We took the 2:30p cruise after having lunch at the lake. Very enjoyable and relaxing. The scenery is beautiful, we even saw a bald eagle! The guide was very informative of the area and made the cruise that more enjoyable. |
