We thought the boat ride was an excellent way to view the lake. Also the price was right. We would have rushed to sit at the front had we known beforehand that the motor at the back was a little loud. Also the canopy prevented us from seeing the rocks as they should be seen, but it did protect us from the hot March sun.
We would recommend this to our friends. |

After moving to AZ from NY in August, we have enjoyed many sites, but wanted to bring our NY guests to one of the lakes and chose Saguaro. We had been to Canyon Lake many years ago (on a private boat), but chose the paddleboat this trip. Our one friend is an avid "birder" and we all enjoyed the scenery and the expertise of our captain! We wish the trip had been longer-it was over too soon!

We sat in the middle under the cover on a hot day and we could easily see on both sides of the boat.
The captain of the ship gave an excellent narration of the geology, wildlife, birds, activities available such as camping and hiking.
He spoke clearly and the microphones were good so all could hear.
We bought his CD and the pictures were excellent. The price was good. Five dollars was a good price for an excellent group of pix.
We had also taken pictures and our pictures turned out beautifully too.
We noticed people rushed on board to get the outside seats, but the middle seats were better, we thought.
We had done this cruise four years ago with our son and two young grandchildren and the narrator then was very casual, and mostly just answered questions. He told us a very few things, but this captain was excellent! Good information. |

A comfortable, enjoyable cruise on a beautiful lake narrated by a knowledgable guide. Especially enjoyed seeing the bald eagle and the blue herron rookery.
The area was beautiful with the brittle bush all in bloom. |

I would highly recommend the boat trip to anyone who loves the Arizona scenery as much as I do. The boat Captain was very helpful to me as I need a cane to get around. He helped me aboard and then off the boat at the finish. He explained everything that we saw, with full detail as to the different cacti, birds, and trees that were to be seen on our trip. I hope that you all experience this delightful trip!! |

We really enjoyed this cruise. Despite a rude person standing and blocking one view the entire cruise, we saw amazing scenery and wildlife. The captain had lots of interesting information to share, and the ticket cost was well worth it. I brought friends from the area who had never been and they couldn't believe such a great place was such a short drive! |

Even though we had reserved our tickets ahead of time, there were not enough chairs for us on board. Assuming that we had seats, we were in no hurry to board so we enjoyed the beautiful oudoor dining. We were the last ones to board and had standing room only. The captain was very gracious as we were. We could have been the first ones on board but did not think that it was necessary. The 10 mile trip was wonderful. The beauty was exquisite. My wife loved the trip=which is much more important than the cost. Incidentally, the cost is very cheap. $17 for the cruise is wonderful. |
