Great afternoon for newcomersand visitors |

We are new to the area and wanted to show visiting relatives how beautiful the area really is. I knew they all appreciate the outdoors, fishing etc. so I thought visiting a lake would be good and something we all would enjoy. Seaching the papers and eventually on line, I learned about the Desert Belle Paddleboat Curise on Sagurora Lake and BINGO! It was a definite hit. We loved it and so did our visitors. The Lake was beauitful. As we curised we saw several Bald Eagles, nesting birds, water fowl, not to mention the rock formations, desert flora and cliffs along the lake. Even the drive from the valley west of Surprise to the lake was beuatiful and enjoyable to us all. A great way to spend an afternoon. Recommendation: 4+. Would we do it again? You bet! Can hardly wait until we have more visitors to do it again. |

It was a nice 90 minute cruise around the lake. We saw quite a few different waterfowl and a nice narration from the skipper of the boat. The lake is about 1300 acres and has a great shore line for viewing. I recommend the 2:30pm cruise if you want warmer temps on the lake.

My sister and I very much enjoyed the excursion. Since we were new to the area we enjoyed the scenery, but felt it was the educational information given that made the tour memorable. I have recommended it to other snowbirds and would even like to do the tour again myself. |

WE ALL ENJOYED THE TOUR AND LEARNED ALOT ABOUT THE LAKE AREA. I DID NOT REALIZE THE LAKE WAS SO BIG. THE CAPTAIN WAS WONDERFUL. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. |

If you are looking for something that is relaxing and low key this is the event for you. The boat is a slow moving boat that takes in all the beauty of the surrounding area. A nice step away from the concrete jungle of Phoenix. |
