My mom and 3 sisiters were visiting from Michigan. My mother can only walk short distances so uses a wheel chair. The DesertBelle and the resturant at the Saguaro Lake marina is fully accessable. We had lunch at the resturant and then took the cruise. It was a very enjoyable trip. You can bring your own snacks and refreshments ( not sure about alcohol) in a cooler. There is a restroom and they have pop (soda)and water available for purchase on board. The scenery was beautiful and the captain informative. A very enjoyable afternoon. At a very reasonable price. |

We expected to see wildlife and saw none. In addition we could not hear the captain/narrators discussion due to the poor sound system. |

It was easy to obtain tickets on the internet. We liked that.
The boat was a perfect size... not too large, not too small.
The captain was well informed, casual, funny and very nice.
We have taken this ride before and we will again when we have guest in town. |

We really enjoyed our hour and a half cruise. The views were beautiful and the wild life was interesting. They play soft peaceful music which makes the guest relax. If you need to unwind this is the cruise for you. Staff was helpful and fun. We will go again soon. |

Recently, I brought 37 people on a day trip to Saguaro Lake. We had lunch at the restaurant and then a cruise of the lake in a small paddleboat. We had a wonderful time. The captain was very informative and the lake is very beautiful. We had been to Lake Saguaro last year with a group of people, and they enjoyed our day so much, that we decided to return this year. Everyone at the marina was very helpful and so courteous.
When we started driving to the lake, which was 56 miles from where we started, our trip became very confusing and difficult. While traveling on I87, we encountered detours on I87. We had nine cars full of people. From I87, we had to turn off to Bush Highway to reach the lake. We were detoured north, and could not make the turn to Bush Hwy. Many of us had to travel 20-40 miles or more out of our way in order to return to the turnoff for the lake. The construction was at the intersection that we had to turn off to reach Saguaro Lake. There was no one to guide us or ask for directions, and there was construction at the intersection. It looked like the road was closed. We were detoured north, instead of turning west at the intersection. It was very confusing. We had to wait for a crossover before we could return south to the intersection. When we returned, we had to make a very dangerous manuever in order to reach the road to Saguaro Lake. It was very difficult and we were not informed of these detours in advance, not even by the employees of the Marina. Our last car arrrived 10 minutes before the boat leaves the dock, much to our relief, and so, did not have time to eat. Then, the cash register broke down, and a lot of us were delayed boarding the boat. The captain had to wait for everyone to get their bill and pay by hand. Our captain was delayed, but waited until everyone who had tickets was boarded. Once we were all on the boat, our day was very enjoyable.
All in all, time spent on Lake Saguaro was very pleasant. It was the confusion with the detours and cash registers that was upsetting to all of us. Lake Saguaro is a very beautiful and picturesque area. |

I enjoyed the ride and view , Was disappointed that the website did'nt inform us that there were drinks on board and a bathroom on board. These are vital things!!!!! I hauled my own water for a party of 7. Was sligtly board by the time we turned around. I was definetly sick of the I love Arizona song by the time we returned.
Must do's:
1.) Update your website to show that drinks and bathrooms are available on board!
2.) Get a variety of at least 7 songs to play during trip.
3.) Go a little faster heading back.
4.) Separate the seats a little more. Older people dont have much padding left on
their own seat. You might want to consider padded seats as an upgrade. |

I had been to the Lake before and even rented a float boat with friends but I really enjoyed the local folk lore and history. Arranging for the bald eagles was a good trick. Thanks for the fun. |
