	In discussions after our activity there was general agreement that the Captain/Narrator was knowledgeable, articulate and effective in providing information about the wildlife, flora and general characteristics of the area. We had a miserable day and all were convonced it would not be a pleasant experience but were surprised that all of that was overcome by the strength of the individuals involved.

	On this rainy , cold day, one would think the last thing you would want would be a float on the lake...Our Captain cleared the day with a delightful monolog that warmed our thoughts with history and even eagle sightings. It was well worth alittle rain and wind to be there with friends and the Good Captain....

	During the activity I was thinking of all the poeple I know who would enjoy this and plan on telling them about it. It is a great day trip if you live in the Valley.

	The tour was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. It is very informal, just the right length, and gives a very good feel for Saguaro Lake and the area. The captain provides many interesting historical tidbits and some points of interest about the terrain, flora and fauna of the area. The information is fairly basic, but a good introduction (particularly for those new to the Sonoran Desert). We saw several herons and a bald eagle. Weather was windy and the first few minutes were fairly choppy, but the water was calm once back in the canyons.

	From the friendly ticket taker to chatty captain of the boat it was a nice day for a family of four generations. The music was fun too.

	As grandparents we are always looking for places and ways to interest our grandkids in the beauty and special things in Arizona. Both boys, ages 5 & 8, very much enjoyed our trip on the Desert Belle. The Captain's commentary was appreciated. He gave enough information without talking constantly. My husband and I have wanted to take the trip but never had. We plan to do it again. Will encourage others to take the trip. Thank you.

	I definitely recommend this paddle boat cruise for out of town visitors and Arizonans alike. It's a great way to get out and see the Arizona landscape and wildlife while relaxing on a cruise. I would do it again.

	Our trip on the Desert Belle was our second time out, the scenery stil takes our breath away. We will continue to bring guests on this trip. Our Commander was congenial, informative and entertaining. Highly recommend. June

	We enjoyed our trip immensely. We recently moved to Fountain Hills and were entertaining family from Kansas - grandparents (ages 62 & 68) and an uncle (age 35). We have two young sons (ages 2 & 4). We took the cruise on Dec. 26 and everyone had a delightful time. My brother (a H.S. teacher) enjoyed hearing the geography & geology information from the guide. My Mom enjoyed the scenic photography opportunities. I liked that we could bring our own (healthy!) food aboard and didn't have to purchase overpriced junk food. Was also pleased that beverages (including water) were offered at a reasonable rate. And our kids loved the freedom to move around a bit on the boat. It was a very pleasurable way to spend an afternoon with our family! I've already recommended it to others.

	This was our second boat cruise at Saguaro Lake. Our group ranged from age 7 to 88 and everyone had a good time - the beautiful day and scenery enjoyed by all the day after Christmas! We saw bald eagles, many herons both blue and white, and a variety of other birds and plants. We took a picnic lunch aboard (you may bring food and drinks) and took a lot of gorgeous photos. A relaxing 1.5 hours aboard the Desert Belle, the Captain was knowledgeable and entertaining - yet allowed for reflective time to enjoy the quiet outside of Phoenix. Highly recommended!
