West Palm Beach Duck Tour

Enjoyed the tour of West Palm Beach as well as the island. It was very good for the length of time and the price. The tour guide and the captain could have gotten a little more involved with the group. ( I enjoy that but others might not) There were kids aboard and I think a sing a long could have been appropriate. We went on a similar tour in Seattle and it really got fun with the sing a longs and the captain changing hats for every time the character of the tour changed (surfing, boating etc).

Having been on duck tours in other locations I found this one to be less informational and less entertaining. The 1st mate was Very corny with her duck jokes. It seemed that she was trying too hard and came off fake. She waited until the front of the boat had passed a mansion before she identified it. Thus those in the front were always looking back and trying to figure out which one she was talking about. All in all the tour was ok. Definitely not something I would be anxious to do again in W Palm or something I would recommend to other families members going down for a visit. It was nice to go on the short ride on the water. It was a beautiful day.

My husband and I gave my parents a day at City Place as a Christmas Day. We had a wonderful lunch at City Cellar and then enjoyed the highlight of our day-the Duck Tour. the tour guide was humourous and knowledgeable, it was fun to see all the lovely homes, I recommend it for all ages !

This is a nice activity to do while in town! We enjoyed it very much!!

Bought Tix for 10 persons ranging from age 5 to mid 40s to age 79. I was really excited to go on the Duck Tour, but the boat was very slow once it got into the water, then the houses that we saw along the shore and the stories was not so interesting. I think a bus tour portion by itself would have been more fun. So perhaps the bus portion could be longer and the boat tour shorter. The guide suggested that the morning tours saw manatees and dolphins. It was nice and breezy on the water at least and not too hot. Seemed more like a promo for the stores and restaurants at Cityplace. Oh well.

I inadvertently booked the adults in my party on a 2:30 tour and the kids on a 4:00 tour. I was notified that morning, and although I really would have rather gone at 2:30, they said that the earlier tour was full and we would have to go on the 4:00 tour or not at all that day. The mistake was quite possibly my own, but they were flippant about the whole affair from the very beginning, and made it seem like I was purposely trying to pull one over on them. When I arrived to check in, I jokingly asked if she would throw in duck quackers for my kids since we got bumped. You'd think I asked her for a private tour from the way she adamantly told me "No, you can buy them for $2 apiece. We didn't bump you, YOU caused..." Blaming me for the problem with the booking. In the hospitality industry, isn't the customer always right, even if she's the one who made the mistake? They probably could have afforded to be a little nicer to someone who just spent $100 for tickets on their tour. Maybe the business isn't doing so well. Anyway, the tour itself was just ok. The guide was scripted and not particularly engaging. The time spent chugging on the lake lasted way too long. He told us to "relax" while we circled. That part was boring for the adults, let alone the kids. The vehicle is very cool though. There are much better ways to spend your money, for sure. Would not recommend.

This was so much fun and so unique and our guide was the perfect personality for this friendly, laid-back tour! Enjoyable for any age and the teens in our group even had a ball with the duck whistles too! I have taken many out of town guests over the past 2 years on this tour and every single person has reacted the same way---thorough enjoyment and a lovely way to "see" the city. Intriguing and interesting to say the least....A real winner and an outstanding attraction for P. B. County!!!

The Diva Duck was a great way to see the Palm Beaches as a bus ride that went right into the Intracoastal Waterway as a boat. The tour guide was enthusiastic, energetic, and filled with great information. I would recommend the Diva Duck for both locals and tourists from everywhere. Come join the fun!

My son and I took an out of town guest - we enjoyed it, both on land in WPB, on the water (with the rich & famous) and on the Island of Palm Beach - more money!! I would recommend it or go again with friends/family who come to visit - definately!
