A wonderful way to see Palm Beach via land and sea, and get some history in a fun way as well

We had a very fun time. My little boy - 2 1/2 was moving through all the seats and no one minded so that made it all the more fun!

I recommend this tour

This was an interesting and informative tour. I have lived in Palm Beach County all of my life and I was impressed by some of the sights that I had not heard of. If you are visiting West Palm Beach, I would highly recommend this tour.

Novelty but overpriced

The vehicle itself is a novelty but $100 for a family of 4 (2 kids) is too high. The hosts were entertaining and enthusiastic though.

Great way to learn about the city!

I actually lived in Palm Beach for 35 years until I moved to North Carolina 4 years ago. I brought a friend "home" to visit so we quickly became tourist. During the tour I learned things about Palm Beach I didn't even know (embarrassing...LOL) and overall we both found it to be very insightful and interesting. The views alone were worth the ride. Oh and I have to say that driving right into the ocean...well that was the best part. Very exciting! The staff was very friendly. The tour is a little pricey but worth it.

It was pretty good

I enjoyed the Duck Tour... my only complaint is that we weren't in the water for very long... as a local, I can drive around and look at the places myself, but I don't own a boat and really enjoyed seeing the mansions of the rich and famous on Palm Beach and wish we could've seen more of that. But overall, I enjoyed the tour and would probably recommend it to other people.

Good tour, but.........

The tour was much too short for the money charged. I would have anticipated at least 2 hours with enough time on the water to see more than four houses. For what little time they had, the personnel did an excellent job.

Palm Beach Diva Duck Tour is great

We parked in the indoor garage behind Panera Bread right next to the courtyard where we were to pick up boarding passes. Cityplace is beautiful and is loaded with good restaurants and interesting shops. In the evenings there is often live entertainment. In other words, this is a great destination in addition to the Duck attraction. Our amphibious vehicle was very comfortable with a lovely tour guide and a very professional driver/ captain. The tour guide should be commended because she colorfully described hundreds of homes, stories and characters that are and have been part of Palm Beach. This was non-stop fun and education. My daughters are nine and twelve and the adults in our group were fifty to sixty years old. We all had a terrific time. We left our beautiful country club to do this and are very happy we did.

Disappointed

My family and I have been on several duck tours in various cities around the country and found this one to be disappointing. Though the web site offered a $3 discount on adult tickets, when getting to actually purchase them, there was a $2 fee, which means there really was only a $1 discount - misleading advertising to say the least. On all other duck tours we've taken, the price included the "quacker" (duck whistle). We had to pay an additional $2 for each one we wanted. Though our guide was personable, we found the tour to be little more than a boat ride past some Palm Beach properties. I realize that the tour company offers a separate tour to Peanut Island, but I thought that we would get close enough to actually see it as well as Singer Island, not just have the guide tell us that, if we looked off in the distance we could see them. I also feel that the land portion of the tour was lacking. There was little to pique interest in wanting to spend more time in West Palm.

Very enjoyable - just to short

Descriptions of homes being identified on the ride need to be more descriptive, not just that white house on your left. Kids loved hearing about dolphin and manatee. The Florida trivia was fun.

Silly Fun!!!

Great for kids and adults who havent grown up. Staff are friendly and helpful. My ten year old wants them to drive into the water next time (and there will be 'next' times) at high speeds so, "the splash is bigger."

Worth the Time

We learned a lot. We had more than a few laughs. We enjoyed the excitement of going in and out of the water. And we went on the water (a bit choppy) without getting sea sick!

We had a wonderful time on the Diva Duck. The weather was lovely although breezy but that did not hinder the enjoyment of our trip. Our tour guide Faith was knowledgeable, easy to listen to and fun. Couldn't think of how a guide could be better. I guess with the way it was advertized, I expected it to be a bit more child oriented. As adults we enjoyed it thoroughly but the commentary seemed to be more directed to adults than children. Despite that fact , our grandson quite enjoyed the trip and listed it as third behind mini-golf and the beach in his top 3 of things he did on his holiday with us. I think the price might deter some people from taking advantage of this activity as it is expensive for a whole family.

We all enjoyed it.

We all enjoyed it. There were 11 of us from the Red Hat Society of Port St Lucie. The only problem we had was when you were waiting for the Diva Duck the drain or sewer was giving off a awful smell. Other than that the day was a joy.

B minus tour
Mon, Mar 30, 09   11:30 AM dkuhns Female 40-49 Local Family With Children
The tour through downtown was disappointing. There was little information provided about sites we were passing. We were literally stuck for 10 or more minutes at both bridges which would have been a good opportunity for tour guides to "show what they know" about Palm Beach. No commentary was provided. My 8 yr old was bored even after the splash into the water. The tour on the water was a little better. So B minus is a fair grade. It wasn't horrible, but it could have been so much more.
