DivaDuck Amphibious Tours

I've seen the ducks downtown for a long time, but as a "local" I had never gone on them. We had a family group in, and we were looking for an outing that would interest EVERYONE in the group, ranging from age 3 to age 89. The DivaDuck delivered! The tour was prompt, the guides were excellent, and the time was fun. There isn't a lot of time for detail on certain landmarks, but there is plenty to whet your appetite to learn more. An interesting note is that they DON'T try and gouge you like most "tourist" activities. They sell water and snacks on the duck, and you're a captive audience in the Florida heat, but a bottle of water is only a buck. I like excursions that don't take advantage of you. All in all, I would rate this at least a 9 out of 10. Go for it!

We went to celebrate my Mothers' birthday --there were 4 of us. Although she did not want to announce that we did this for her birthday--as they asked was it anyones' birthday---she had the best time and it was a unique surprize for her--she would have never guessed what we had planned for her---it was great fun!

I learned some new things about a place I live, which was neat. The host was entertaining! The kids were bored by the end, so maybe the could do something just for them--a game or activity or something. It was worth our time and money, thanks.

I thought the tour was very good, not to long and not too short. I would recommend to any who has not gone on this ride to just go and enjoy.

we really enjoyed the tour and guide, Faith. We went at 5:30 and in south Florida in June, it was way too hot and uncomfortable.

My dearest girlfriend, Iona, a Washington state resident, aged 65, visiting South Florida, my 11-year-old son and I, a local, were greatly amused and entertained by this recent tour. Our tour guide, an affable South African young lady with an engaging regional accent, was fabulous. How she remembered all her lines and the Palm Beach County trivia was astounding. I enjoyed the numerous "duck puns." They made me "quack up." LOL! The only criticism I have is: The bus is *totally NON-ADA compliant.* Not only is there no flat ramp for boarding passengers who might be wheelchair-bound, but to exit the bus at the conclusion of the tour, passengers must disembark by turning around 180 degrees and walking down the ladder *backwards* due to the ladder rungs' slant. I am a 44-year-old stroke survivor. Thankfully, due to much physical therapy, I am no longer wheelchair-bound. I re-learned to walk on my own. Nevertheless, I walk with a slight limp, wear a brace on my left leg and left foot plus a brace on my still-paralyzed left arm. Because of this, I had extreme difficulty both climbing up and climbing down the ladder. I also noticed that there was more than one passenger with a baby or toddler in their arms during my particular tour; I imagine climbing up and climbing down were challenging for them, too. Disregarding for a moment the disabled and those carrying small children...with so many *elderly retirees and elderly visiting "snowbirds"* alone in Palm Beach County, it seems to me that there should be either a mechanized OR detachable flat ramp on the bus to assist them in boarding. I am not planning to report your compliance issue to the ADA or make any trouble for you; I promise. I truly did, overall, have an enjoyable, memorable tour. Even so, I recommend that if at all possible, you make the necessary adjustments to your vehicle before somebody else DOES report you. Just a friendly word of caution. For adults, interesting info about the city, though the presentation is corny -- lots of duck jokes. Thought our 11-year-old son would love it, but it was boring for him.

Had fun! Great tour guide and boat captain. Would go on other similar tours.

This was a great activity for both locals and to take your out of town guests. Don't know why we waited 5-6 years to do this. We will go back. A very light-hearted and fun tour of downtown West Palm Beach and the Intracoastal. Very interesting commentary about local landmarks and homes. Fun for all ages. We had a range of ages from 5 to 44, but there were retired folks on board too. Good value for the money I think. Nothing compares to driving your vehicle into the ocean. That's an odd feeling. The best of all though was getting out of the water. For those of you who have boats, there is no docking, going to find your car, fighting with some other clown about who is going to back their trailer into the ramp first, loading the boat on the trailer, tying it down, hauling that bad boy off a slippery ramp, cleaning the boat and getting it home safe and sound....there's none of that. They just drive it out and you're on your merry way. The best way to travel if you ask me. Have fun and enjoy!!!!!

I have been here in palm beach for many years before we went on the Diva Duck, It was a great trip for us.

I wouldn't reccomend it for little kids, the boat ride is very slow and the scenery isn't much for small children, just big houses and things like that. It was well narrated and interesting for our group of adults.

I have been on short tours before, but this was fun going straight from land into water. Everyone we passed was waving because we were in a freaky tour vehicle. Tour guide girl had great sense of humor and did really good job, on land and sea. Very reasonably priced. I will take friends again and I don't usually like to do stuff more than once. Good job.

We had a very fun time. My little boy - 2 1/2 was moving through all the seats and no one minded so that made it all the more fun!

The vehicle itself is a novelty but $100 for a family of 4 (2 kids) is too high. The hosts were entertaining and enthusiastic though.
