Dive-In Theater Boat Cruise of Bar Harbor

Diver Ed and Captain Evil are wonderful, informative, enthusiastic and funny. They are FANTASTIC with kids (as well as adults). Our 10 year old LOVED this trip- both watching Diver Ed under the water with Mini Ed as they explored the ocean floor for sea creatures as well as checking out all of the sea creatures that were brought back onto the boat. Really felt this was WELL worth the money we spent. When we go to this area again, we hope to go on another tour!

I highly recommend Diver Ed to anyone visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia.

My husband and I took our almost 4 year old granddaughter on the cruise. We had a wonderful time!!! My granddaughter was a bit frightened of the sea creatures, and several times Ed came over to her with tiny creatures for her to hold and pet. By the time we left she was proud of herself for petting a lobster! Thank you - we will be making this cruise an annual tradition. PS - we got lost and were late for the boat and they held it a few minutes for us. Great people!

This was our second time out with Diver Ed, and it was every bit as fun as the first trip! Both Diver Ed and Captain Evil have a wonderful way of making learning and exploring so fun and memorable. Cannot wait to visit again next summer!!

Diver Ed, Captain Evil, and his crew are amazing! The energy and knowledge that they have for the waters and sea life surrounding Bar Harbor is tops! The kids - and adults - will laugh nonstop at Diver Ed's antics. Captain Evil, who is definitely NOT evil (ask how she got her name - cute story), will teach you tons about sea life. I can't wait to return to Bar Harbor to cruise with them again.

This was a great hands on experience for the kids. Diver Ed and crew are very very interactive and respectful of the sea life as well. You know what is really great about this? Our kids have actually been playing "Diver Ed" for the last 3 days with all the creativity that implies. Lowering the anchor, finding sea life, getting attacked by sharks (the family dog) and making diving helmets for mario and Luigi out of applesauce cups. Now I ask you, when was the last time an event inspired that kind of prolonged play from your kids?

The passes so quickly. Bring your camera and let the Edu-Fun begin.i could take this fun ride multile times and still learn something.

We have two boys ages 9 and 10 who thought that the trip was going to be "babyish" but found it to be very entertaining, interactive and educational. We would recommend for any ages. Just being on the water was nice and the hospitality of Diver Ed and Captain Evil was great. We loved seeing the Newfoundland dogs on the boat as well. Definately something to add to the list of "must do" while visiting Acadia!

Great activity for seeing and learning about some of the marine life in Frenchman's Bay. Our grandchildren learned a lot and loved handling all the marine life. The adults in the group also enjoyed the "show"
