| I have lived in Bar Harbor five years and just made it out with Diver Ed. From now on that trip will be on the agenda for all of my many summer guests! |

| My husband, two boys (ages 8 and 10) and I recently joined Diver Ed, Deckhand Dick, and Capt Evil on one of the best Harbor cruises we have ever been on. Diver Ed's enthusiasm for the ocean wildlife is contagious and impressive. With every creature that Diver Ed brought on board, it was as if he was greeting an old friend or it was the first time he had ever encountered the critter. Being able to watch the animals in their natural habitat via the underwater camera was amazing. The vibe on ship is welcoming and Diver Ed and his crew make sure you have a trip you will not forget. When we return to Bar Harbor next year, one of the first things we will do is book our cruise with Diver Ed. Don't miss this unique and memorable family entertainment!! |

| This trip was the perfect combination of comedy, technology, and marine biology! The crew members are enthusiastic and make each guest's experience entertaining and enjoyable. These people love what they do and it certainly shines through. My six year old was hooked last year and we returned for a repeat performance this year. Each trip was unique, but both were filled with laughter and learning! The bald eagles, harbor seals, and beautiful Newfoundland pups were special highlights this year! |

| This trip was absolutely incredible, I can't say enough about what a great time we had. My five year old son had a blast - while learning so much. He can't stop talking about holding sea cucumbers and hermit crabs and lobsters - his face still lights up when he talks about it. When we left the boat he told me that he wanted to be a diver when he grew up!!!! Not only do I recommend this trip, I would say that it is mandatory if you are in the Bar Harbor area and are looking for something to do with the kids. |

| I took my three and five year old on the Diver Ed's Dive in Theater and what a hit! Diver Ed and crew were funny, smart and wonderful with all the kids. My kids are still talking about it! I would highly recommend this activity! |

| Diver Ed and his mates are full throttle fun with awesome learning for the kids.
Ed's manner with the kids is first rate, you can tell he really cares and wants the kids to love the sea and its creatures as much as he and his wife do.
The underwater camera and microphone truly add to the event. A trip to Bar Harbor is not complete without a visit to Diver Ed's! |

| I can't say enough about this trip. Ed and his crew and just wonderful and clearly have a passion for what they do, which make their theatre a true pleasure to experience. This is a great way for kids to get up close with the sealife in the harbor, and be thouroughly entertained at the same time!! And beyond that...it is just as much fun for the adults. I highly rec this to anyone visiting the acadia area! |

| Diver Ed's dive in theater is the most entertaining and educational boat tour in Bar Harbor! Diver Ed's enthusiasm, love of nature, and passion for teaching can only be compared to such animal greats as Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin! If you don't see Diver Ed when you're in Bar Harbor, you've missed the boat! |

| I entered into this whole Diver Ed thing with a good amount of skepticism but I figured what the heck - my sister in law was visiting with her kids so I took a couple of my kids and off we went. I should add that I am a professional biologist who is here each summer working at one of the biolabs on MDI. So, there I was, feeling like a know-it-all just waiting for Ed and crew to slip up or saying something stupid or without much real educational content. Wow, was I ever wrong! Ed and crew (including the dogs) are the real deal. You could just see the excitement and smiles build on each kid (and adults face) as the clock ticked by - by the end we were all beaming and I was ready to go out again that afternoon! Great commentary on the way around the harbor (other boats, seals, eagles, history lessons, biographies - awesome) and the idea of this "dive-in theatre" is absolutely brilliant.
The highlight is Diver Ed himself - he brings the place alive and just connects with the kids as well or better than anyone I've ever seen. And the content was informative, engaging and just a whole lot of fun. Every school should have a Diver Ed to teach our kids about our world and the precious life that swarms on land and in the sea. The way he described the life history of things like sea stars, lobsters, sea cucumbers and a lot of other stuff was wonderful. I don't know how you work yourself up to putting on a dry suit and jumping in twice a day with "Mini-Ed" and still manage this level of energy. Hats off to Ed and crew - you guys are the best. My simple advice - just go and do this folks....!! And Ed - if you are ever looking for more crew, please keep me in mind! |
