Dive-In Theater Boat Cruise of Bar Harbor

This was our second trip with Diver Ed. There was a lot of silliness aimed at the children, which made us laugh, but we also learned a lot and saw a lot, thanks to the underwater camera and our extremely knowledgable hosts. I agree with the comment I saw somewhere on the website that the trip with the park ranger, which we took last year, was more appropriate for adults but we still enjoyed the trip very much. I just kept wishing we could have taken our children out with Diver Ed when they were kids!

This was the best thing we did on our vacation to Maine. I have two Boys ages 8 and 6 and this is all they talk about in regards to our entire trip. Ed is extremely funny and excellent with the kids as well as the adults; his crew members were friendly and very informative during the trip. It was like a scientific comedy routine on water, my family and I have never had so much fun learning. I would tell anyone with a family, or without one for that matter that if you do nothing else in Bar Harbor do Dive in Theater it is fantastic!!!!

My nieces and nephews raved about their trip with Driver Ed. The adults had fun watching the kids having fun.

Went on the Drive-In Theater Boat Tour with Diver Ed with my wife and two kids (13 & 10) in July of 2011. We all loved the tour - everyone was very friendly and Diver Ed was very entertaining. We all loved being able to see the sea creatures in their natural habitat and were thrilled to be able to actually touch and hold some of them. My wife is a teacher and is not easily impressed with these types of tours but couldn't stop taling about it for the rest of our vacation. Definitely a worthwile addition to your Acadia-area vacation.

We had a great time and Diver Ed is very entertaining to watch as well as Captain Evil is very knowledgable. We were amazed at the knowledge of the rest of the crew as well and it will be a memory that we will not ever forget!!! Thanks again, Diver Ed and Crew!!! If we ever get back up to Bar Harbor again, we will be sure to take another cruise!!!

Primarily geared toward kids, but adults will enjoy as well. Diver. Ed is very entertaining AND educational.

Diver Ed and Captain Evil make learning about underwater sea creatures fun. This was my third trip with my little friends and my favorite part is watching the kids, so timid at first, by the end of the trip are holding all of the sea creatures and telling us all about them. We had an awesome eagle sighting on this trip, saw the seals on the last trip... I can't wait for my next little niece to get big enough for me to take on trip number 4!

My family loved everything about Diver Ed! Would reccomend it to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island.

My 7 year old godson's first visit to Maine. What an excellent way to show him the Maine coast and the creatures that live below the ocean. Diver Ed and crew provided a very educational and entertaining experience for kids and adults. Not only did we see and touch underwater creatures like lobsters and starfish, but the trip also brought us close to eagles and seals and gave us amazing views of Bar Harbor and the mountains of Acadia Nat'l Park.

An awesome combination of viewing sea creatures in their natural habitat as well as hands on time. Loved this trip with the kids and is an absolute must for anyone visiting Bar Harbor.
