Diver Ed and his wife, aka Captain Evil, are each a great combination of entertainer and naturalist. Everyone in our party...grandkids, kids and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I highly recommend it. |

Our son, now 10, has loved Diver Ed since 2004, when we first sailed with him. We have returned every year, and Diver Ed is always the first activity on our list. Don't let your child miss it. |

This was so exciting for my children, 5 & 7. They really enjoyed the interactive part since they never had the chance to touch lobster or sea cucumbers before. Everyone on the boat was extremely nice. I would recommend this activity to anyone. |

They do a great job with making the children feel welcome, they are funny, it's educational for all in a very enjoyable setting, and the underwater live views of the sea life are excellent. We did enjoy the cruise and learned a lot.....However..... our youngest was 14, and we were hoping for more "Views of Acadia/Mt Desert Island" and there was very little of that. So, we picked the wrong cruise trip. If your kids are 10 or less this is a great cruise. If you are looking for a nice tour of Mt Desert Island/Frenchman's Bay/ lighthouses, etc, though, you should choose one of the other cruises that are advertised.

Our family spent a week in Acadia/Bar Harbor. Diver Ed was the highlight of our trip. He made learning fun! The parents and kids had a great time on his boat! His witty personality is contagious and an instant hit with all. |

Diver Ed was hilarious--great with Kids...Highly recommend this trip for all ages, but especially the Kids. Our Grandson (6yrs old) loved it. The late cruise (5:30-7::30PM) was a bonus due to the spectacular sunset on the way back to port . This cruise is well worth the money.... |

The world is indeed a fantastic place with characters such as Scuba Diver Ed and Captain Evil! Our family of four (kids ages 6 and 9) were wildly entertained and educated on our trek aboard the Starfish Enterprise. My daughter kissed a Sea Cucumber and my son, eyes all alight, placed a Starfish (oops, I mean a Sea Star) on top of my head. The Dive In Theater was the highlight of our vacation on Mount Desert Island. We walked away not only more knowledgeable about the creatures in our ocean, but with huge smiles on our faces. To top it off, we got to see three beaufiul bald eagles on the trip back ashore. Woooo Hooooo - two enthusiastic thumbs up! |

My family and I have ventured out with Diver Ed and his crew in the past. Recent visit to Bar Harbor with friends (first time to this location) was a must see. They loved it and as my children of three grow they become more involved and interested in all the creatures brought up from the bottom of the sea. Highly recommended for all ages. Thank you for great experience. |
