We loved it!

Our family group of 5 adults ranging from 30s to 70s and 5 children ranging from 5 to 12 were big big fans. We loved Mini Ed and everything about the tour. We went on the Park Ranger tour partly because it was a better fit with our schedule, and found the ranger engaging and informative. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles and harbor porpoises too!

Diver Ed and his wife were very enthusiastic and entertaining. We went on the cruise with park ranger Eleanor. She was great and very informative. The camera quality was very impressive. We also got to see some bald eagles and porpoises on the ride. I think we lucked out with that. I would definately recommend Diver Ed's Dive in Theatre.

Diver Ed and his family genuinely care that each of the passengers has a good time. The warm feeling from the family was great. They made sure that every person in the boat touched each and every item collected from the ocean. Very nice! Here are some comments from my children (5 year old twins) "I liked how he (Ed) held the sealife animals so that it would not hurt them. He was very careful." "I liked seeing the animals -- the lobster, the sand dollars, the crabs and sea stars." "I liked touching the horse mussell." "I liked seeing Diver Ed on the screen collecting the animals and putting them in the bag from the ocean floor." My nine year old also thoroughly enjoyed the program. She was able to ask many questions and get answers from Ranger Tony, Diver Ed and Captain Evil. The quality of the underwater camera is excellent. During our trip we also saw some bald eagles... which was pretty awesome. We saw them flying around. We saw a seagull chase a bald eagle. We also saw a bald eagle catch a fish/bird from the water surface. Totally cool! Ranger Tony was excellent. His observations were informative and educational. Thank you everyone for a truly memorable experience.

Our Girl Scout troop of 15-18 year olds attended this program and loved it! The staff are all enthusiastic and are really interested in sharing their love and knowledge of the under water world. The program is delivered with a fair amount of humor, mostly at the expense of Diver Ed's dive partner Mini-Ed (a Play Mobile dive figure). On this trip we also saw a number of seals and many bald eagles. I highly recommend for groups or families.

Diver Ed and Ranger Eleanor were excellent!

We loved the entire set-up of this boat tour. The trip out to the cove was filled with Ranger Eleanor's 'fun facts' about the area and the wildlife. We saw eagles and seals and plenty of seagulls before Ed even dove in the water. Once Ed was down under, he projected from his camera to a wide-screen monitor so we could all see everything he was encountering. It was really entertaining and informative with 'Captain Evil' (his wife) narrating. Then, Diver Ed brought the creatures up to individual touch tanks on the boat so we could all get a closer look. The overall tone was informative and educational, but was also entertaining enough to engage both our boys -- 13 and 6 -- as well as my husband and me the entire time. Totally recommend this boat tour for anyone interested in marine life and the Downeast Maine area!

Interesting & fun

The facts & trivia were presented in an educationally fun way. Humor, local lore & trivia kept us hooked. Highlights included seals & eagles as well as viewing underwater creatures in real time via scuba/monitor/big screen. My only recommendation would be to keep it a bit shorter.
