| The Dive-In Theater Cruise was one of the best parts of our vacation. The whole family was able to enjoy and participate in the cruise. Diver Ed brings the ocean floor to you for you to see. We were able to see and touch lobsters, several types of crabs, sea urchins, several varieties of sea stars, sand dollars, and a sea cucumber. We also saw seals and bald eagles on the way to the dive site. The crew even took the time to pick out a piece of plastic from the water so no harm would come to any sea creature. They truly have a love for the ocean and all animal life. |

| This activity was recommended for children. While the children on board had a wonderful time, so did the adults! The Park Ranger was very important to the success of this trip. (We were a group of adults)
Accessing the boat is difficult for those who have difficulty walking the two blocks from the meeting point. (One of the groups on the boat). Plenty of extra time should be allowed for this purpose.
Also come early to enjoy the natural history museum at the starting point. (The University of the Atlantic.)
Parking was complicated. We were directed to a particular parking lot by Zerve agent. The parking lot attendant said that this was not necessary and we went back to park in a more logical place (closer to start of tour). Parking may be restricted when school is in session, but during August it was not. |

| I took my daugher, age 6, with a friend and her 2 children, ages 4 and 6 and we had a super tour. It may have been 3 + hours long but because we were so enthralled with everything we never once looked at the time. The kids were terrific because they were so interested in Diver Ed and his crew-including 2 dogs. The stories that were told were relatable and funny. The sights were amazing, we saw seals playing, porpoises swimming, a bald eagle in it's nest and so many other beautiful things among the islands. It's a parents dream to have your children learning things while having fun and without having them sitting inside a typical classroom. There is no better place on Earth than the Atlantic Ocean! |

| we saw an eagle ,seals, and harbor porpoise before we even got to the dive location.
the dive was the best live look at the ocean bottom that i ever had.
Diver ed showed us all the critters on the bottom and then brought them up to the boat so we could handle them, and the ranger from acadia park explained each one.
I will go back on this trip when i get to acadia again |

| Our three generation group all found this trip to be the highlight of our Bar Harbor vacation. Everyone got to participate in the hands on encounter with sea animals and all questions were answered patiently and in ways that we could understand. Watching the diver's finds on the big screen while he worked was amazing because we could see very small creatures greatly magnified. We recommend it most highly. |

| We (parents) and the kids loved it so much, we're already planning on building it into our iternerary for next year's visit. I can't recommend the Dive-In Theater enough. Ed, his wife and the ranger are fun, entertaining and educational. Thank you for one of the highlights of our vacation. |

| This was our third trip to the Dive In Theater. Our second with the Park Ranger. Every time there is something new and exciting to discover and the new boat is awesome. Diver Ed keeps everyone excited and entertained with all of the wonderful sea creatures he finds to share. Park Ranger Angi gave a wonderful tour of the park and provided new pieces of information for all of the sea creatures we were introduced to.
We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Acadia and the Bar Harbor area. |

| All the staff, Diver Ed, his wife and the ranger, shared their knowledge with an enthusiasm that showed that they really love what they do. Diver Ed was both informative and entertaining, keeping both adults and children raptly attentive. The three hours went by quickly. I would do this again in a heartbeat and I was not that keen to begin with. But I would bring any guest on this trip. It was great fun! |
