Dive-in Theater with Acadia National Park Ranger

We loved this trip. This is the first review I have ever done, but I had to write this because we love going on boat tours. My 3 kids love sea creatures and this sounded like something fun to do in Bar Harbor. It was awesome - fun for adults and kids. Original, educational and unexpectedly very funny. I strongly recommend this to everyone (and have been telling everyone I know that may go there to please include it). We did the 3 hour tour with the guide from the park and loved it. It was just the right amount of time and we got a lot of great perspective and information - but kept it engaging and fun. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the time spent with Diver Ed and the crew. If we will visit again Acadia, we will definitely want to go again. Thanks!

This was by far the best thing we did while on vacation in Maine. We opted to take this trip on a rainy day based on a ranger's recommendation, and it was truly a great experience. I would recommend it to anyone that plans to travel to the area, and I will most certainly take the trip again when I am back in the area!

Diver Ed was the best activity we did during our vacation. Evil and Diver Ed were so funny and entertaining we forgot it was cold and rainy. The touch tank was a great experience as well as educational. The whole crew took the time to answer our questions and really get the crowd involved. We did other boat trips but this one was the BEST!! If you go to Maine you've got to see Diver Ed!!!

We LOVED this excursion. We saw harbor porpoises and seals. We watched Diver Ed search the sea floor for animals and then we held and touched lobsters, sea cucumbers, star fish, crabs and scallops. Enjoyed by all of us. We will definitely go again.

DiverEd's Dive in Theater was a wonderful activity -- one that proved to be the highlight of our vacation for both, the adults and children in our family. Ed's great sense of humor entertained us all, and the trip was fun but educational too. We loved every minute of our trip to Acadia, but this stands out as one of the greatest of memories. We would highly recommend it. If you do the three-hour trip (which we did, and recommend), perhaps bring snacks for the kids.... and brings sweatshirts too, as it got chilly.

My family group numbering 24 people went on Diver Ed's cruise. The salesperson who handles the ticketing was very polite and patient and clear about all the details. The cruise with the Ranger was wonderful. The children all loved it and the explanations were great for all of us. Diver Ed was very friendly and with his wife made the trip very pleasant. This is highly recommended.

Congratulations to Diver Ed, Captain (hope you will advise Ed's wife's name so that we can write thank you letter), Mini-Ed, Ranger Eleanor who led the program (Thursday, 9 August. ) Your enthusiasm, knowledge, sharing, manner in which program conducted, complimented by Ranger Eleanor, was absolutely outstanding! The captain and diver are to be congratulated on the genius of this adventure. The use of "Mini Ed" adds a degree of hilarity to the running dialogue between Evil and Ed. The program is entertaining and educational and should be syndicated on a TV network. One suggestion would be for Capt. Evil to have a headset which would enable her to more easily communicate with Ed while he is underwater. Good luck with the program. Keep the boat afloat.

This was our second time on Diver Ed's boat and we would highly recommend it. My six year old loved it both times! Diver Ed and Captain Evil are a great team and the staff is so approachable. Diver Ed is hysterical and we learned so much about all of the sea animals he brought up. It was also very cool to hold all of them. We can't wait to go again.
