If you like to expose your children to a little educational material occaisionally, this is a great way to do it. Diver Ed is immensely entertaining for everyone in the family & we stayed close enough to shore to avoid seasickness. Loved how we could watch what he was doing on the big screen while we were in the boat. He also brings up what he finds so you can see the critters up close & hold 'em if you'd like to.

My 14 yrs old son and I were in Acadia NP for 10 days. We were very glad to have attended Diver Ed's program. The program is very educational and fresh. We enjoyed the live video and examine and handling the live sea creatures. Diver Ed is very funny and we enjoyed the program completely. I would highly recommend this program.

Diver Ed and Captain Evil really make this a fun and educational adventure. The "theater" is very cool and the mini-Ed (we were the maiden voyage of Mini-Ed #90) really helped to put things into perspective. We all had plenty of time to touch/feel all that Ed was able to net and get lots of questions answered. I highly recomment this trip to anyone that is near Bar Harbor.

The Dive-In Theatre was excellent. It was definately aimed at the kids in the audience, but it was also enjoyable for all ages. It was well organized so that all participants were able to see and touch the many sea treasures brought up from the bottom of the ocean. We went on the cruise with the park ranger. I would not hesitate to go on a cruise without the ranger. The boats captain and Diver Ed were very knowledgeable. My kids really enjoyed the cruise. It was not only fun, but we also learned a lot.

Diver Ed was terrific. The video in the water was clear and the action was both educational and actually very humorous. Mini-Ed, a Playmobil figure, was a valiant entertainer as he "dove" with Ed. My kids (6 and 8) enjoyed every part of the trip. We took the trip with the National Park Ranger.

We had a great time at the Dive In. Diver Ed and Captain Evil are wonderful. The presentation was educational and fun. The kids loved the hands on activities and Diver Ed's humor. The nature tour of the islands was nice. We saw lots of birds- including a bald eagle and seals. The ranger who gave our presentation was not great but different rangers rotate in and out of the theater so others may have a better guide for the ranger lead section. The sections presented by Diver Ed and Captain Evil were great- anyone with older kids (7 and up) would enjoy this. The regular theater is better for families with smaller children. My kids 5 and 11 had a fabulous time and it was one of their favorite activities on this vacation.

Diver Ed was very entertaining and wanted to make sure his guests were comfortable and entertained. Everyone gets a chance to hold and touch all the seas creatures that Diver Ed brings back to the boat with him. He was funny and we enjoyed his interaction among the groups of people. When we went out with him his camera broke so we weren't able to see what the water was like underneath. Diver Ed was very apolegetic and gave everyone on board free return tickets. I was not expecting him him to do that at all as I thought that was just a minor inconvenience. Cheers to Diver Ed and his crew. I will mention that he did have 2 huge black dogs on board that were wet ,so if you don't like dogs I suggest you skip the boat ride or sit well in the back where the dogs cannot get to you.
