Though occasionally corny, this televised dive and inspection of sea life was relaxed and fun. The boat is comfortable, the ranger is knowledgeable and low key, and the scenery is great. This tour is especially good for people with very little prior knowledge of marine life, and particularly geared toward children. |

The Ranger was very knowledgeable, as was Captain Evil (the sweetest evil captain ever). Diver Ed and Mini Ed were so funny! The dogs are beautiful.
We went out on a clear Bar Harbor day, only to cruise into fog. But, don't let the weather stop you. The action and adventure comes from the ocean/bay floor! |

We've been on many boat rides during the 20 years we've been coming to Maine and this is by far the best! We saw so much wildlife! Eagles, Seals, Sea Cucumbers! It was just the most fun and fast three hours we have ever spent on the water.
Diver Ed is GREAT with kids and he and Edna put on a great show that's both educational and really, really entertaining. I thought I know the Maine coast, but no! I have so much to learn.
My husband wants to go back to school at the College of the Atlantic after that trip!
Don't miss the Dorr Museum of Natural History on the College of the Atlantic Campus. A small museum but so much great stuff! Worth a visit! |

We tried to get on this cruse last year and were very disappointed when we were unable to get reservations, so this year we reserved well in advanced are so very glad we were able to make the trip with Diver Ed and the crew. It was just the right amount of time to hold the interest of young and old alike that were on the cruise. Great job everyone! |

We were really impressed by the creativity of Diver Ed's tour. I've never seen anything quite like it, and it was tremendously fun too. We went on the ranger tour, which is definitely the one to go on if you don't have kids. We saw seals, porpoises, and an eagle, and of course all the sea creatures Ed brought up! I've never held a lobster before- it was cool. A great mix of family fun and interesting information. Highly, highly recommend. |

DIver Ed is one of those lucky guys who really enjoy their job! He is as fun as he is informative, showing us sea creatures that he brings from the floor of the ocean to his passengers comfortably seated in his fine boat. Hold lobsters, crabs, sea cucumbers, sea stars and more!
The cruise takes you by Egg Island where seals are basking in the sun and close enough for some real good pictures. We even saw some young eagles on another of the islands we passed! |
