| The boat ride was smooth and comfortable and our children 4 and 3 loved it. We had friends with us and their children are 4 and 5. Both families had a blast! The adults got to touch creatures we had never touched (or seen) before. The staff and Diver Ed have great personalities and make it fun. We opted for the longer ride with the park ranger and got to see harbor seals and an eagle as well as other birds. The only suggestion I have is to do the ranger part after the diving because of the kids were anxious for Diver Ed to go under! |

| I took my daugher, age 6, with a friend and her 2 children, ages 4 and 6 and we had a super tour. It may have been 3 + hours long but because we were so enthralled with everything we never once looked at the time. The kids were terrific because they were so interested in Diver Ed and his crew-including 2 dogs. The stories that were told were relatable and funny. The sights were amazing, we saw seals playing, porpoises swimming, a bald eagle in it's nest and so many other beautiful things among the islands. It's a parents dream to have your children learning things while having fun and without having them sitting inside a typical classroom. There is no better place on Earth than the Atlantic Ocean! |

| This was a funfilled, at times humorous, hands-on learning experience for both children and adults. I highly recommend it. The crew and park ranger gave a genuine and enthusiastic presentation. A great way for both children and adults to be exposed to the coastal environment and wildlife of the area, both above and below sea level. |

| This is my second trip to Diver Ed. This year, considering the vast amount of children on board and their young ages, the Park Ranger was speaking way over their heads. I preferred it much better with the humor that Diver Ed provided.
Great underwater camera. Much improved pictures! |

| The cruise sails from College of the Atlantic, which is fascinating in its own right. The program is excellent for adults who have an interest in Maine sea life and enjoy a cruise. The Park Ranger was both enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Not only did we see eider ducks, gray & harbor seals, dolphins, gulls (of course), heard about the bird populations of the various islands circled, and viewed some of the lovely "cottages" along the cliffs, but then were enthralled with the video presentation of "Diver Ed'.
He dives to the sea floor to collect specimens of starfish, lobsters, sea cucumber (the source of chondroitin!), and other life forms which we then were permitted to touch and examine closely before they were returned to their habitat. "Diver Ed" has a great partner in his wife, who gives a running commentary of what we are seeing on the video screen.
It is a true bargain and delight and we were privileged to have the opportunity!
Thanks! |

| My wife and I were looking for a cruise that our child would find interesting. The Dive-In Theater cruise fit the bill. Diver Ed and the Acadia National Park Ranger were friendly and entertaining. Our child loved watching the video being sent up to the boat by Diver Ed. She also enjoyed holding starfish, lobsters, crabs, snails, and a sea cucumber when Diver Ed came back to the surface. We HIGHLY recommend this cruise to anyone! |

| The trip was very interesting and educational. We brought our daughter and son in law
out for an early 25th weddding aniversary and two of their four children, boys 6 and 13.
All were very impressed and entertained and loved the chance to hold the creatures
brought up by Diver Ed from the deep. His comments while collecting the specimans
were also entertaining.
This was our second time to Bar Harbor and will make it a point to take this tour again
when we hopefully return in the next few years.
Also enjoyed the information given by Ranger Tony. With any luck at all, next time it
will not be so cold. Thanks again for a great afternoon. Don and Penny Schroeder
