Our afternoon on Diver Ed's boat has become the highlight of our time in Bar Harbor. We saw birds, seals, porpoises, eagles, and lots of sea creatures. But the best part was Diver Ed, himself. He is a treat!

We had a blast with Diver Ed. We first heard of Diver Ed from a friend and are very glad we did. We have a 2 year old and 4 year old, both of whom got a lot out of the trip. Diver Ed and his wife are relaxed, comical and professional. There was also a park ranger and boat captain on our trip. The park ranger added some great educational stories on the ride out to the dive site. The kids loved seeing Diver Ed get in his dive gear. I knew that we would be able to see with his under water camera, but it was a nice surprise to be able to hear what he had to say while he was under water too. Being able to handle the animals found by Diver Ed was great fun for all of us. I have never considered becoming a diver for fear of sharks, but this gave me a great appreciation for the excitement of discovering new things under the sea. It also gives you a great sense of responsibility for all of the fragile life under the sea. I highly recommend this outing for anyone.

The Dive-In Theater Cruise was one of the best parts of our vacation. The whole family was able to enjoy and participate in the cruise. Diver Ed brings the ocean floor to you for you to see. We were able to see and touch lobsters, several types of crabs, sea urchins, several varieties of sea stars, sand dollars, and a sea cucumber. We also saw seals and bald eagles on the way to the dive site. The crew even took the time to pick out a piece of plastic from the water so no harm would come to any sea creature. They truly have a love for the ocean and all animal life.

Loved every minute. There was plenty to see around us as we traveled to the dive spot. The camera work and hands-on look at sea creatures was interesting to us adults as well as the youngest children on the boat. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and held our interest.

We (parents) and the kids loved it so much, we're already planning on building it into our iternerary for next year's visit. I can't recommend the Dive-In Theater enough. Ed, his wife and the ranger are fun, entertaining and educational. Thank you for one of the highlights of our vacation.

| We had a great time at the Dive In. Diver Ed and Captain Evil are wonderful. The presentation was educational and fun. The kids loved the hands on activities and Diver Ed's humor. The nature tour of the islands was nice. We saw lots of birds- including a bald eagle and seals. The ranger who gave our presentation was not great but different rangers rotate in and out of the theater so others may have a better guide for the ranger lead section.
The sections presented by Diver Ed and Captain Evil were great- anyone with older kids (7 and up) would enjoy this. The regular theater is better for families with smaller children.
My kids 5 and 11 had a fabulous time and it was one of their favorite activities on this vacation. |

Diver Ed provides you with lots of details. We were able to see seals and an Eagle. Once we were anchored and watching the screen and seeing things in the bottom of the ocean was cool.

My daughter (11) loved this trip! We did too! Diver Ed is so much fun, he and his wife are so knowledgeable on marine life, we all learned a lot! I don't think my active 3 year old could have handled a 3 hour tour, but think it would be great for kids 5 and up! Looking forward to taking my niece with us next year!

We participated in the Dive-in Theater tour with a park ranger and it was a great educational and fun experience! The ranger was very informative and kept the groups attention. Diver Ed was great! We saw all kinds of aquatic life both above the water and in the water. We were able to hold starfish, sand dollars, sea cucmbers, lobster, crabs, hermit crabs, etc... The tour was thoroughly enjoyed by both kids & adults.
