Fun for families

Diver Ed was both entertaining and educational. My daughter loved boat ride. Us adults also enjoyed it. Diver Ed made us laugh and taught us a lot about the creatures that live at the bottom of the ocean. A great time for families.

Hours of complete fun, seeing sights from underwater we'd never otherwise get to see. Children and adults enjoyed every minute. Video full of smiling faces. Diver Ed and Captain Evil are amazing.... so is their equipment, the underwater life, and the way it is all presented. Perfect afternoon.

Your kids will love it!!

Diver Ed is very entertaining; the kids were laughing throughout the whole experience. He lets the kids help to push him off the boat into the water, which they love. He both filmed and brought up many interesting creatures, most of which the kids could touch and pick up.

Took trip with adult children and 3 grandchildren. We all enjoyed the trip - especially the "hands on" of the interesting sea creatures. Would highly recommend this excursion to others visiting the area.

We had the best time with Diver Ed and his crew. They are amazing people. Everyone in my family, children and adults alike, were engaged every second. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot too. It is worth every penny!

Diver Ed and Captain Evil brought the undersea world to life for us! They both are so enthusiastic about their "work" (they seem to be having fun...), and we all loved the time spent with them. Ed is a real entertainer...funny, engaging the audience, especially the kids! Captain Evil offers another, equally entertaining viwpoint! The adults were as mesmerized as the kids! Go see this! You'll be happy you did! I'd give it a three thumbs up (if I had three thumbs).

Diver Ed and Captain Evil again entertained us with a humorous exploration of underwater sea life in Frenchman Bay using "Mini Ed" as bait for the lobsters and crabs. Bar Harbor and Acadia are fun for the family but this cruise is definitely geared towards making the kids laugh and having them learn a little something about what lies beneath the water's surface. If you have children this boat trip will be the highlight of their visit to MDI.

Diver Ed and Captain Evil were amazing hosts! So friendly, we felt as if we had known them for a while! Diver Ed is AWESOME with ALL the kids on the boat, every kid is included!! The amount of sea life the kids get to actually touch and investigate is amazing!! We will definitely be doing this again!!

This was a very enjoyable experience. Fun for all ages in our group (8 to 75 years). We liked the humor and educational aspects, and being able to see and hold the different creatures was very memorable. Highly recommended!

Wicked Awesome and Educational too!

I took this cruise with two of my children, ages 12 and 6 and I'm not sure which of us enjoyed it the most. It was funny, educational and memorable. Where else could my kids have held sea stars, sun stars, a sea cucumber, a lobster and a sea urchin? We also saw seals and bald eagles. Weeks after returning home, my youngest is still grossing out her friends and grandparents as she explains how sea cucumbers escape their predators by expelling their internal organs and running the other way! A great experience for all ages - highly recommended!

Wonderful - clearly a labor of love!

It isn't often that you come across someone who clearly loves his job. We came across two of those people when we met Dlver Ed and Captain Evil. Their joy in conducting Dive In Theater comes across loud and clear - and it makes the experience all the better. Our 9 year old daughter loved the whole thing - from Diver Ed's life jacket drill (involving a huge Newfoundland dog) to pushing him overboard in his dive suit to having a sea cucumber dangled above her head. A unique experience and well worth your time!
