Wonderful fun and educational afternoon

| My daughter and family including three kids currently 6,9, and 11 visit me at my camp for two weeks every summer, and every summer we do two or three special things to have fun. I think this beats them all. Diver Ed and his wife are wonderful. It was fun for us all. Bring warm outerwear, water repellant if possible, I highly recommend this activity! | ||||||

| One of our family's favorite vacation traditions is Diver Ed. We usually go on an twilight cruise to enjoy the sunset while the kids laugh and giggle while touching and learning about sea creatures, including lobsters, scallops, sea stars and more. Diver Ed is funny and a great teacher. | ||||||

| We had three generations from 65 to 3 and all enjoyed the trip. Diver Ed is great fun, like a kid himself , and everyone got into the spirit of the trip. So much fun to see all the kids touching and enjoying all the sea animals. Loved it and recommend it highly! | ||||||

| We took our 3 year old son on this cruise because it seemed to be more geared to children - my son was glued to the screen showing Diver Ed underwater collecting different sea creatures and then all the children (and adults) got to hold the various creatures - there was plenty of creatures to go around - the amount of people on the boat was not too big, so everyone could hear the ranger narrating and see what was being discussed - if you have kids, this is the cruise to take. | ||||||

| I have always lived on MDI and thought I knew a lot about the ocean etc., but Diver Ed and crew taught me a thing or two. My grandson who spends his time on the fresh water was visiting so this trip was for him, but I had as much fun as he did. Thank you Diver Ed and Mrs Diver Ed. | ||||||

| Diver Ed and his crew made every effort to provise a great experience for all of the children on the trip. It felt like your own personal boat ride with all of the attention that the crew gave to the kids and the families. A must do adventure if traveling to Maine with children. | ||||||

| Our trip with Diver Ed was fantastic! Diver Ed was educational and hilarious! We learned a lot about marine life and had a wonderful afternoon. Our children loved handling the sea creatures. I would highly recommend this trip. We will definitely do this one again if we are back in the area. | ||||||

| Fantastic! Diver Ed, Captain Evil, Mini-Ed, and the pups are not to be missed. It was a perfect blend of education, comedy, and natural wonders. It was one of the high points of our trip to Bar Harbor. | ||||||

| My 14 yrs old son and I were in Acadia NP for 10 days. We were very glad to have attended Diver Ed's program. The program is very educational and fresh. We enjoyed the live video and examine and handling the live sea creatures. Diver Ed is very funny and we enjoyed the program completely. I would highly recommend this program. | ||||||

| Not only was this a 2+ hour trip to see nature at the bottom of the bay, but Diver Ed and his wife Captain Evil were very entertaining. My 8 and 3 year olds had an absolutely great time. Diver Ed kept everyone laughing most of the trip. Highly recommended. | ||||||

| My husband, myself and our four kids (ages 5, 7, 9, and 11) went on a morning cruise while vacationing in Bar Harbor. We thought the theater looked interesting and it gave us a chance to go into the harbor on a boat. I have to say, Diver Ed and his wife, Captain Evil, were a riot! Not only was the trip educational for everyone (Diver Ed is a graduate of the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor), they had the entire boat rolling with laughter throughout the cruise. Along with Mini Ed (a Playmobile diver), Diver Ed explored the ocean bottom looking for critters. Mini Ed put his life on the line several times to help capture crabs, lobsters and sea cucumbers. The action was captured on an underwater camera and viewed on a large screen on deck. Diver Ed eventually returned to the boat with a bag of interesting things he had found on the bottom. He then told everyone about the creatures and those who were brave had a chance to handle them. We all had a great time and the kids are still talking about Ed , mini Ed, the sea cucumbers and the rest of the crew. I would highly recommend this trip! | ||||||

| I took my 9 year old grandson and we were delighted!! He got lots of educational info from diver Ed on many subjects without realizing it. Diver Ed was funny and friendly and the kids and adults all enjoyed the experience, as well as touching and holding the sea creatures he brought back up to the deck. My favorite pictures are the starfish "christmas tree" on one of the childrens heads and the look on my grandsons face when he held a lobster for the first time. Thanks Diver Ed and Mrs Ed for a wonderful time and for making the experience so personal for my grandson. I would go again and suggest it for anyone who has children. | ||||||

| I had as much fun as the kids on board! Diver Ed is funny, entertaining and he knows his ocean! I recommend this tour for all ages if you want to see the sea life of this area. It was so interesting to watch the screen of what Diver Ed had on camera under the sea. His use of Mini Ed helped with perspective but when he brought the sea life back to the boat.....that was spectacular! My favorite was holding a sea cucumber...what an awesome creature. Diver Ed did "make" me kiss a crab..but the crab was cute! I hope to be back next summer to do it all again!!!! Martha Smith (over 40, by a bit) Texas | ||||||

| This was our second trip with Diver Ed. It was lots of fun. We happened to have bad weather (fog and then rain), but it really didn't detract from the experience. The new underwater camera is amazing. Diver Ed and Captain Evil provide tons of information in such an entertaining way that kids get excited about learning about sea creatures. I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed this (2 parents and kids 9,6, and 3). There were murmurings on the boat about Diver Ed doing an Animal Planet show (don't know if that was serious or not..) and I think he would be great, easily enough material to make a great show!!! Definately a great trip!!! | ||||||
