| This is at least the 6th time we've gone on this cruise - and it never gets old. We'd probably pay just to cruise for a couple of hours with the newfie dogs, but the educational and super-fun program is the real attraction. Ed is a kind of Jack Black/Belushi type - so entertaining you forget that you're being educated. We have honestly seen something new and weird from the ocean floor every time - My dad is a lifelong mainer and he goes with us each year, and even he is wowed. An egg-carrying crab, kissing a sea cucumber, and watching Mini Ed tangle with lobsters were all highlights this last year. Diver Ed, long may you cruise! | ||||||

| The Dive-in Theatre is a must for anyone staying in the area. My family, friends and I had great times, each getting something a bit different from the experience. We've attended several years in a row now and have also introduced friends and family to this close up and hands on entertaining boat tour. If you will be in the area I would try to see him sooner than later and be certain to make advance reservations as I have found this tour has been selling out with the increase in popularity. They also provide a decent discount for children and groups. Diver Ed and his crew are safety conscious and friendly professionals with a passion for the environment. They use state-of-the-art technology and along with many years of knowledge of the ocean to safely guide the this fun tour. I understood that at least two of the crew were former teachers who have continued their balanced educational outreach with this very fun and interactive venue. Diver Ed is as enthusiastic an entertainer as I have ever seen. I'd be surprised if he isn't being seriously courted for his own TV show if they could ever pry him away from this beautiful location. We'll be back! | ||||||

| This was our second trip with Diver Ed. It was lots of fun. We happened to have bad weather (fog and then rain), but it really didn't detract from the experience. The new underwater camera is amazing. Diver Ed and Captain Evil provide tons of information in such an entertaining way that kids get excited about learning about sea creatures. I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed this (2 parents and kids 9,6, and 3). There were murmurings on the boat about Diver Ed doing an Animal Planet show (don't know if that was serious or not..) and I think he would be great, easily enough material to make a great show!!! Definately a great trip!!! | ||||||

| This was one of the best activitieas I have ever done. Diver Ed's love of the ocean transpires so much we feel like taking it up. He and his team are so much fun, we laughed as much as the children. From the moment he presents himself to everyone one and shakes are hand we were sold. A trip that should of lasted 2 hours lasted 3 and a half because they had so much to share with us. Ne counting the time when tou have fun. Not a child on that boat asked to get off. I suggest it to everyone I know and would do it again in a heartbeat. Great, great fun. Thanks to Diver Ed and his team. | ||||||

| WOW!! Where do I begin. My grandparents sent me an article about the Dive In Theatre and we had to try it. We took our 12 year old boy and 3 year old daughter and with such a wide range in ages its hard to do something as a family. We all laughed and enjoyed ourselves so much we can't wait to go again. Lucky for us it is only an hour away. We plan on taking the rest of my family to do this wonderful experience. The children are learnign so much and they don't even realize it. This would be a wonderful school field trip as well. My 3 year old daughter pretends to be Diver Ed now at our house (instead of princess' at dress up time). We all have to see the wonderful treats she gets from the bottom of the ocean(or should I say bottom of the carpet). I can't say enough we have told sooooo many people about this wonderful experienceand to think it was in my own back yard. If you choose only 1 family activity to do (with or without children) you won't regret this one. My 12 year old laughed and joined in and my 3 year old got to help push Diver Ed into the water and thought that was so much fun! Don't miss this one!! | ||||||

| I do not know what was better about Diver Ed- The relaxing scenery or the hysterical conversations. It is a joy and refreshing to spend time with people who LOVE their job as much as Captain Evil and Diver Ed do! Their happiness and love for marine life is contagious. If you choose one boat-related activity in Bar HArbor, this should be it. | ||||||

| Diver Ed makes learning about sea creatures incredibly fun and entertaining. Diver Ed's camera images are amazing, and then the best part is that you get to see & touch real starfish, lobster, crabs, etc. At the end, we got really lucky in that Diver Ed & team took a side trip to see seals that were sitting out on the rocks nearby on the way back. Great crew and great boat trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It is a calm and very family/kid friendly boat trip. | ||||||

| This is our second time doing the Dive-In Theater. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My two daughters (3&5) loved it last year and even more so this year. We brough our 10 year old nephew and he was blown away. Great time!!! | ||||||

| Diver Ed does a great job of making sea exploration fun for both young and old. He does this 3 times a day all summer long and yet he seams to enjoy it as much as the first time. Humor and hands on do so much for inspiring kids to learn more. | ||||||

| Diver Ed has a great way of communicating with the kids. He teaches them about the sea life, while making them laugh. Believe me, the adults were laughing too. It was definately the highlight of our vacation. | ||||||
