| The program was great for children especially and adults as well. The weather was picture perfect and the water calm.Everyone on the trip had a wonderful time. Diver Ed has a great personality and was entertaining as well as informative. His stories are fabulous. The children seemed to really enjoy pushing him into the water at the beginning of the trip. Thoroughly enjoyable time with Diver Ed - would certainly recommend it to friends and family and in the future will take other family members on the trip. Fabulous time!! P.S. Not sure I would like to have many dogs on board - even if they are friendly. But that is just my opinion. | ||||||

| DIver Ed is one of those lucky guys who really enjoy their job! He is as fun as he is informative, showing us sea creatures that he brings from the floor of the ocean to his passengers comfortably seated in his fine boat. Hold lobsters, crabs, sea cucumbers, sea stars and more! The cruise takes you by Egg Island where seals are basking in the sun and close enough for some real good pictures. We even saw some young eagles on another of the islands we passed! | ||||||

An unusual educational fun time for any age

| Super hero Diver Ed and his side kick Captain Evil provide an entertaining 2 hour ride combo dive in beautiful Bar Harbor Maine. The dynamic duo take you out to discover the area around Bar Harbor describing the various sea life you will encounter. Then the real fun starts once they drop anchor. Diver Ed dives down and video tapes the bottom of the bay describing what he sees while you watch it all happen live and dry on deck with Captain Evil's comments filling in the blanks. He then returns to the boat with bags of the various fauna found, puts them in tubs, talks about them then lets you and the kids handle them! How much better can it get? Diver Ed is careful to explain what dangers might be associated with the animals he's brought on deck but you see with what care he gives to each and every creature. After every one gets their fill Diver Ed then lets them all go back into the bay. I've done this trip 3 times and each time it has been different and no less entertaining. I highly recommend this outing to all! | ||||||

| ANYONE GOING TO BAR HARBOR SHOULD GO ON THIS BOAT. DIVER ED, HIS WIFE (AND THE DOGS) ARE SO MUCH FUN. THE KIDS ON THE BOAT WERE HAVING A GREAT TIME AND ALSO LEARNING ALL ABOUT THE SEA CREATURES DIVER ED (AND LIL ED) BROUGHT UP THE THE DEEP. | ||||||

| I took my two nieces on this trip two years ago and they never forgot it. When visiting with us this week, the first thing they asked about was if they could go on the Diver Ed trip again. They loved it this time as if it were their first trip. Diver Ed does a great job of managing excited children and including all who want to be included. He has a great amount of energy to keep both children and adults interested for the entire trip and takes time to interact with children and adults individually, asking where folks are from and including them in the presentations. This is a trip that should be a priority for all visiting and local families. For our extended family, this was a memorable trip, and the memories of the events are shared, nearly every time we gather. | ||||||

| Diver Ed and Captain Evil are wonderful hosts and guides, friendly, professional and excited about the subjects they speak of. Everyone should take a trip with them when they come to Acadia, young and old. | ||||||

| We've gone out on a Diver Ed trip every summer since it started 8 or 9 years ago. The new boat is really nice. We loved the Seal, but the new boat is more roomy, more stable, easier to get on and off, etc. Ed and Edna are wonderful as always. Our kids loved this trip when they were 4 and 7 years old and they still love it at 13 and 16. And, my 76 year old mom laughs at Eddie's antics. In my opinion, the trips without the park service naturalist are a bit more freewheeling and fun than the ones with. But it's been years since we've tried the park service naturalist version. | ||||||

| My kids enjoyed everything from Eddie's crazy humor to handling the different sea creatures to watching "mini Ed " on the video screen. It was a lot of fun for us adults, too! Ed & his wife "Captain Evil" made all of us feel welcome and included. All in all a great experience. | ||||||

| This was our second family excursion with Diver Ed. We went out on the ill-fated "Seal" last year, and were delighted with the "Dive-In Theater." Our two boys, 6 and 9 this year, couldn't wait to go back, this time on the "Starfish Enterprise." The weather was beautiful on the Monday morning in Mid-July that we took our second trip with Diver Ed and Evil Edna. We saw porpoises on our way to the dive site. Ed's humor and teaching while underwater and later back aboard with the sea life he brought up were worth every penny. After we left, we also walked around the beautiful grounds at the College of the Atlantic. If you are in Bar Harbor with kids, the Dive-In Theater should be a "must see." | ||||||

| I can't say enough great things about Diver Ed and this cruise. My 3 year old granddaughter could not stop talking about Diver Ed, the sea animals and especially mini-ed. After getting off of the boat the first time she wanted to go back, so we did a few days later, after that trip she wanted to go the next day, unfortunately we could not or we would have. Diver Ed is so fantastic with the children no matter what age, and his and Captain Evil's (his wife) explaination of the creatures of the area were great. I think no matter how many times you might take this adventure, you will see something different and still be amazed and educated, even I at 54 learned new and exciting things. I urge anyone that is in the area with or without kids (especially with no matter what age) to take this adventure. A great thanks to Diver Ed, Captain Evil and their dogs for a great and educational time. Connie, Karen, Amy, Lois and Danica | ||||||

| Our group of four adults loved the Dive-In Theater. We have all been on many water tours but have never experienced the underwater camera before. It was fascinating. Diver Ed's knowledge and humor kept everyone on the boat fully engaged. I would do it again!! | ||||||

| We are just back from ten days in the Bar Harbour / Acadia Nat. Park area. It was a beautiful early Fall vacation. Our favorite outing was this Diver Ed trip. First of all, it got us to the College of the Atlantic which is a very cool place. I love the concept of learning AND having fun at the same time. Being able to see Diver Ed suit up, dive and encounter the ocean floor was pretty amazing. And the hands-on experience with the creatures he brought up was great. Captain Edna is an amazing woman, and the Ranger was friendly, informative and easy to be around. It was great to have information so easily available to us. And the trip concluded with a rainbow that spanned two islands! My husband and I highly recommend this activity. | ||||||

| Our childrens' ages range from 5 - 18 and we all enjoyed the adventure. One of the teens said it was the best part of their week long adventure in Acadia. Diver Ed provided an entertaining education. A great note to end our vacation on. Thanks Diver Ed, Captain Evil and Halo (no not the game) and Levi. Well done! | ||||||
