| I highly recommend going on the Diver Ed boat cruise. I took my twin 6 year old girls and we all had a blast! Diver Ed and his wife are very entertaining and at the same time very educational. He engages every child on the trip,and they quickly become at ease and want to participate. From beginning to end, we thoroughly enjoyed this adventure. I recommend this trip for all ages. | ||||||

| This was a fantastic way for our family to spend their afternoon. The tour is led by Diver Ed with help from Captain Evil. It was very educational - even us adults learned stuff we never knew and saw the underwater animals both in their natural habitats and up close and personal. If that wasn't enough, Diver Ed and Captain Evil's commentary is hillarious. It's almost like being on a floating comedy show. We highly recommend this tour ! | ||||||

| As a family with grown children we enjoyed the trip just as much as those with smaller children. It was very impressive to see how Diver Ed and Capt. Evil worked with the children and at the same time involved the adults. Overall it was an educational and entertaining experience well worth our time. We enjoyed it very much and have recommended it to other visitors to BH. | ||||||

| We are locals and I personally know Diver Ed. He and his crew were very entertaining and knowledgable. The kids had so much fun, and yes we did to. We would recommend this to everyone!!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| This was our third adventure with Diver Ed and, as usual, we were not disappointed. We have young children, nine and five, and their attention is captured from the time we board the boat until well after we've arrived back on land. Even though we live along the coast of Central Florida we've never seen sea life captured in such an entertaining and educational way. This last trip was especially facinating thanks to their new high definition camera. Wow! What a difference it makes! Thank you Diver Ed and Captain Edna! You guys really know how to rock a boat! | ||||||

| Diver Ed and his companions, Captain Evil and Mini-Ed (not to mention the dogs) provided one of the most enjoyable learning experiences my son and I have ever had. My son picked Diver Ed out of many choices and I was so glad he did. Diver Ed is GREAT with kids. The hands on part of the trip was fascinating to both kids and adults. If we ever go back to Bar Harbor, we will probably plan to go out with Diver Ed again. | ||||||

| This is on the top of my grandchildrens list of things to do when they come to visit for there 2 weeks in the summer, this is the 3 rd year. There ages are 6 and 8 ... it is never the same from year to year and Diver Ed makes it so interesting ., I am sure they will out grow it sometime but for now it is staying on the top of there list.... | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the Diver Ed boat cruise. It was fun and informative for children and adults. The crew was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. There were many sea creatures to see and touch. I would highly recommend this activity for families. Our group loved it and we will definitely do it again. | ||||||

| We went with our 2 children-6 and 3, and not only did they have a great time, but so did we. Diver Ed was very entertaining and did great relating to the children on board. One never knew what was next to come, as Diver Ed always had a trick up his sleeve! We had a wonderful time and have recommended it to tons of people. If we are in Bar Harbor again, we will definitely be doing this again. | ||||||

| Diver Ed, Mini Ed and Captian Evil are great at what they do! We loved the whole experience from watching Ed and Mini Ed gathering sea life to stacking sea stars on our heads and kissing sea cucumbers. What a day! we have already told friends that they MUST sign up. | ||||||

| This was an enjoyable and funny program and trip that was fun and educational. The way Diver Ed and Captain Evil keep the information rolling and the hands on activities that included all were great. My niece and nephew couldn't stop talking about what they had seen during dinner. I would recommend this to all. | ||||||

| Diver Ed was one of the best highlights of our trip to Bar Harbor this past summer. We had 4 children with us and 3 adults. The kids aged 2 1/2 - 12 absolutely loved Diver Ed and his crew. Diver Ed and his crew are sooooooo motivated to work with young children (and older ones too). They really geared the trip to everyone and I was educated with some really interesting things too! Great with kids and great for kids. Absolutely take your time out of your trip to go to Diver Eds! It was supposed to be a 2 hour tour but it took us 2 1/2 hours (maybe a few more minutes too). There was no rush and a truly relaxing experience! | ||||||

| I entered into this whole Diver Ed thing with a good amount of skepticism but I figured what the heck - my sister in law was visiting with her kids so I took a couple of my kids and off we went. I should add that I am a professional biologist who is here each summer working at one of the biolabs on MDI. So, there I was, feeling like a know-it-all just waiting for Ed and crew to slip up or saying something stupid or without much real educational content. Wow, was I ever wrong! Ed and crew (including the dogs) are the real deal. You could just see the excitement and smiles build on each kid (and adults face) as the clock ticked by - by the end we were all beaming and I was ready to go out again that afternoon! Great commentary on the way around the harbor (other boats, seals, eagles, history lessons, biographies - awesome) and the idea of this "dive-in theatre" is absolutely brilliant. The highlight is Diver Ed himself - he brings the place alive and just connects with the kids as well or better than anyone I've ever seen. And the content was informative, engaging and just a whole lot of fun. Every school should have a Diver Ed to teach our kids about our world and the precious life that swarms on land and in the sea. The way he described the life history of things like sea stars, lobsters, sea cucumbers and a lot of other stuff was wonderful. I don't know how you work yourself up to putting on a dry suit and jumping in twice a day with "Mini-Ed" and still manage this level of energy. Hats off to Ed and crew - you guys are the best. My simple advice - just go and do this folks....!! And Ed - if you are ever looking for more crew, please keep me in mind! | ||||||

| Diver Ed was terrific. The video in the water was clear and the action was both educational and actually very humorous. Mini-Ed, a Playmobil figure, was a valiant entertainer as he "dove" with Ed. My kids (6 and 8) enjoyed every part of the trip. We took the trip with the National Park Ranger. | ||||||
