| Diver Ed's dive in theater is the most entertaining and educational boat tour in Bar Harbor! Diver Ed's enthusiasm, love of nature, and passion for teaching can only be compared to such animal greats as Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin! If you don't see Diver Ed when you're in Bar Harbor, you've missed the boat! | ||||||

| I can't say enough about this trip. Ed and his crew and just wonderful and clearly have a passion for what they do, which make their theatre a true pleasure to experience. This is a great way for kids to get up close with the sealife in the harbor, and be thouroughly entertained at the same time!! And beyond that...it is just as much fun for the adults. I highly rec this to anyone visiting the acadia area! | ||||||

| Diver Ed and his mates are full throttle fun with awesome learning for the kids. Ed's manner with the kids is first rate, you can tell he really cares and wants the kids to love the sea and its creatures as much as he and his wife do. The underwater camera and microphone truly add to the event. A trip to Bar Harbor is not complete without a visit to Diver Ed's! | ||||||

| I took my three and five year old on the Diver Ed's Dive in Theater and what a hit! Diver Ed and crew were funny, smart and wonderful with all the kids. My kids are still talking about it! I would highly recommend this activity! | ||||||

| This trip was absolutely incredible, I can't say enough about what a great time we had. My five year old son had a blast - while learning so much. He can't stop talking about holding sea cucumbers and hermit crabs and lobsters - his face still lights up when he talks about it. When we left the boat he told me that he wanted to be a diver when he grew up!!!! Not only do I recommend this trip, I would say that it is mandatory if you are in the Bar Harbor area and are looking for something to do with the kids. | ||||||

| This trip was the perfect combination of comedy, technology, and marine biology! The crew members are enthusiastic and make each guest's experience entertaining and enjoyable. These people love what they do and it certainly shines through. My six year old was hooked last year and we returned for a repeat performance this year. Each trip was unique, but both were filled with laughter and learning! The bald eagles, harbor seals, and beautiful Newfoundland pups were special highlights this year! | ||||||

| My husband, two boys (ages 8 and 10) and I recently joined Diver Ed, Deckhand Dick, and Capt Evil on one of the best Harbor cruises we have ever been on. Diver Ed's enthusiasm for the ocean wildlife is contagious and impressive. With every creature that Diver Ed brought on board, it was as if he was greeting an old friend or it was the first time he had ever encountered the critter. Being able to watch the animals in their natural habitat via the underwater camera was amazing. The vibe on ship is welcoming and Diver Ed and his crew make sure you have a trip you will not forget. When we return to Bar Harbor next year, one of the first things we will do is book our cruise with Diver Ed. Don't miss this unique and memorable family entertainment!! | ||||||

| We have visted Bar Harbor three times and have always had fabulous trips. We heard from Kayak intstructor Jeff that you were the "funniest guy on the face of the earth" so we HAD to check out your tour. Well, he was absolutely correct! You are extremely funny and we also enjoyed Captain Evil and Deckhand Dick's interesting and funny and stories. The icing of the trip was getting to see the harbor seals and the two bald eagles (how lucky were we to get to see one eating his seagull lunch?!)! Fabulous trip, thank you for making this trip to the island a memorable one for sure! | ||||||

| This boat trip was soooo much fun. Diver Ed really knows how to interact with the passengers (esp the kids). He was educational and informative while still being lots of fun. I especially loved it when he brought the sea creatures up and let everyone hold them. I absolutely recommed this trip to families!! | ||||||

| Diver Ed runs a terrific cruise for kids. He drives a small boat with ~30 passengers (families with kids) out into the bay, puts on a wet suit, and lets the kids push him overboard. Then the boat converts to a floating theater and the passengers view Diver Ed on a video screen while he explores life on the ocean floor. He shows images of anemones, sea cucumbers, starfish, crabs, and of course lobsters! and many other creatures (whatever he finds). His mate, Captain Evil, a naturalist, interprets and narrates the images. He then puts the animals into a mesh bag and brings them up to the boat. The kids can see and touch all the animals while Ed and Evil describe how they live. Diver Ed encourages interaction and "kisses" all the animals - and the kids do too! | ||||||

| Diver Ed and Captain Evil really make learning fun! We first went on the trip about 5 years ago and the kids absolutely loved it. now they are 12 and 15, and they still loved it! It's because Ed and the crew are still very enthusiastic about what they do. And they have invested in their business - better video quality, and live audio link with Ed while he is on the bottom. We'll be back! Our only complaint is that when we booked the trip through Zerve we were asked if anyone in our party was celebrating a special event. We were - it was my mother-in-law's birthday on the day we sailed, and we noted that on the reservation. Ed and crew made no mention of the birthday during the trip, which was a little disappointing. | ||||||

| Our trip with Diver Ed was fantastic! Diver Ed was educational and hilarious! We learned a lot about marine life and had a wonderful afternoon. Our children loved handling the sea creatures. I would highly recommend this trip. We will definitely do this one again if we are back in the area. | ||||||

| Oustanding, fast-paced, one-of-a-kind adventure. The 7 and 11-year olds were engaged every minute. Lots of silly fun, mixed with incredible ocean-bottom sights, hands-on with sea creatures, and educational information. What a great time -- and a uniquely Maine experience. | ||||||
