| The tour of Frenchman's Bay was a pleasant and informative way to spend an afternoon. The fun was in watching the diver as he found and retrieved creatures from the bottom of the bay. Then seeing the creatures up close and being able to touch them. | ||||||

| Diver Ed's cruise is essentially split into two segments - the underwater collection part, transmitted live to the boat with video and audio, and the "show and tell" segment, where he explains his findings to the group. The first part is where the theater comes in - he had the kids in stitches with his silly underwater commentary and mock encounters between the sea creatures and his little diver mascot/figurine, Mini-Ed. After he brings up the creatures, he and his assistant (Dr. Evil, actually quite nice) sort them into touch tanks and Diver Ed shows and talks about each one before allowing everyone to swarm the tanks. The show and tell part, while still quite funny, managed to impart a lot of information to the group. My family loved the cruise - definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Bar Harbor. The kids loved holding all the sea creatures, and Diver Ed's energy and enthusiasm were infectious A must-do in my book! | ||||||

| My children LOVE Diver Ed! We took friends a few years back, and their children still talk about his cruise. We went again this year, and really enjoyed his highly humorous but informative look at the sealife of Frenchman's Bay. You will not regret the trip! | ||||||

| The Diver Ed trip was terrific. We brought our 3-year-old and her aunt and uncle (ages 20 and 16) and all of us had a great time. Definitely fun for grownups, but especially fun if you have a little one(s) to share it with. Diver Ed is enthusiastic and a great entertainer. | ||||||

| We have 2 kids (11 & 12) and we all enjoyed this excursion! Diver Ed was funny, knowledgeable and very friendly. It was amazing what he was able to find on his dive and the video you see of him underwater was fantastic! Then being able to touch and hold all the sea life he brings up was incredible! We took the National Park Ranger tour (an hour longer than the usual) and we also saw an eagle's nest, neat rck formations and lots of seals basking on the rocks. It was a trip we will all talk about for a long time! | ||||||

| This trip with Diver Ed and crew was GREAT. We had three generations on the trip and everyone had a ball. Diver Ed is exceptional with the kids (whether they are young or young of heart). I know it is something my grandkids will remember and talk about for years. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We would go again. My grandson has Aspergers (on the Autism Spectrum) and he felt a part of the trip and had a great time, his mother is a Speech Pathologist and she was very pleased with how DiverEd interacted with her son and all the kids onboard. | Diver Ed's dive in theater is the most entertaining and educational boat tour in Bar Harbor! Diver Ed's enthusiasm, love of nature, and passion for teaching can only be compared to such animal greats as Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin! If you don't see Diver Ed when you're in Bar Harbor, you've missed the boat! | ||||||

| Our group included three adults, a 3-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 15-year-old--and we all enjoyed our trip out onto Frenchman's Bay with Diver Ed and his crew. Ed was fun and kid-friendly and also informative. The crew members did their best to make sure everyone was engaged in the program. We've been going to Bar Harbor for years and are so happy we discovered this entertaining boat tour! | ||||||

| We had done the tour last summer and was completely amazed! Our son, who was 3 at the time remembered everything that Diver Ed taught during the sea adventure. We went with our nephew who was 2 years old. Both boys held a lobster... amongst other cool sea animals. Diver Ed's educational tour is invaluable and unforgettable. This summer, our niece (5 y.o.) joined us b/c she is deathly afraid of touching or seeing animals... let alone, a slimy sea creature. By the end of the tour, she was kissing a blood sea star. We highly recommend this activity. The tickets are reasonably priced for what you get in return... children who have a new sense of adventure and love for the sea. | All the staff, Diver Ed, his wife and the ranger, shared their knowledge with an enthusiasm that showed that they really love what they do. Diver Ed was both informative and entertaining, keeping both adults and children raptly attentive. The three hours went by quickly. I would do this again in a heartbeat and I was not that keen to begin with. But I would bring any guest on this trip. It was great fun! | ||||||

| My wife and I were looking for a cruise that our child would find interesting. The Dive-In Theater cruise fit the bill. Diver Ed and the Acadia National Park Ranger were friendly and entertaining. Our child loved watching the video being sent up to the boat by Diver Ed. She also enjoyed holding starfish, lobsters, crabs, snails, and a sea cucumber when Diver Ed came back to the surface. We HIGHLY recommend this cruise to anyone! | ||||||

| Diver Ed, Little-ed and Captain Evil provided some of the most treasured memories of our vacation to Mount Desert Island. They provide a real, hands-on fun experience for kids of all ages 5-40. Thanks Eddie for a great time. | ||||||
