Diver Ed

Diver Ed was a great tour! I had done some research before and it did not disappoint. Ed was enthusiastic, entertaining and knew how to get the kids involved. My kids were 3 and 5. They had a great time. During our tour the current wasn't very strong hence the visibility underwater wasn't all that amazing. However, the camera used was spectacular. I highly recommend this tour to families with kids. Great entertainement and educational value at the same time,

This is certainly one of the best tours in Bar Harbor. Also great on a rainy day since the boat is covered and the critters under water do not care if it is raining or not.

Fun, educational and a great time for the kids. We have been on many eco-/whale watching tours on both the east coast and Florida and nothing compares to this. Diver Ed is comical and at the same time, a great teacher. If you are in the Acadia area, do not miss this. We looked for sea creatures in tide pools and beach areas and found crabs and small shrimp. Diver Ed will show you what is really living in the ocean around Bar Harbor. Very cool to see Diver Ed live via video camera on the ocean floor.

We booked this trip while visiting Bar Harbor on the Princess Caribbean Cruise (07SEP11). Strongly recommend this for any age group. My husband and I learned alot. Thank you Diver Ed and crew for a wonderful experience from J & C from Burlington, Ontario.

Entertaining for all ages!

Diver Ed makes learning fun.

The Diver Ed team was organized and provided a fun cruise that was informative AND entertaining! Everyone in our group, from 3 to 40 years old, had a great time on the boat watching the antics of Diver Ed (and mini-Ed, too!). Everyone jumped at the opportunity to touch the sea creatures (especially the sea cucumber- blech!) and help set them free after we all had a chance to view them. Ed and Captain Evil spoke with each and every passenger, which gave a very personal touch to the cruise. We also loved meeting the dogs! Good job guys!!

What a great idea, but it would not be the same without Ed, Edna and Mini Ed. Thanks guys

We travelled from Ontario throughout the East coast for 2 weeks and Diver Ed was one of the hightlights. Diver Ed and Mini Ed kept the kids laughing. What a great way to get up close to the sea creatures. It was worth every penny!!

We, along with our young children, absolutely loved Diver Ed. What a great way to spend the afternoon- on a boat learning about the ocean- with possibly the most humourous teacher ever!!

We had looked up Diver Ed on the internet many sleeps ago ,and Ed and Edna(Captain Evil)exceeded our and our boys expectations!!The whole tour was a riot right from when we got onto the boat till we bumped back into the dock. I really like the feeling that we were with friends out for an afternoon tour and we weren't on a tight schedule.The boys(11 & 6)will be talking about this one for along time!!The boys loved sharing their experience with Levi and Halo!! A truly memorable trip with Diver Ed, whose enthusiasm for the subject was infectious. My children particularly loved being able to touch the sea stars, sea cucumbers and lobsters.

We had a blast. Diver Ed was extremely funny and informative. We learned so much about the ocean and the underwater creatures! Our children are aged 4 and 6 and they were mesmorized by the whole experience. They are still talking about it weeks later. Diver Ed and Captain Evil make a great team. On our trip out, we saw a bald eagle, lots of seals, porpoises and of course lobsters, sea cucumbers, sea stars, crabs, etc. We loved Diver Ed's enthusiasm for the ocean. Seeing him deep sea dive was so cool- we felt as though we were underwater with him. It was well worth every penny. In fact, I feel they could charge more.

One word: Awesome!!!! A must do in Bar Harbour. Above and beyond expectations.
